I have a 600 mm Perkin Elmer solid cat lens (no glass to air spaces within the lens. This was later sold as a Vivitar Series 1 and was made to government specs. To mount the lens on my D7100, you must loosen the rotating tripod mount and rotate the lens. Once mounted, everything works fine. If you try to mount the lens with the tripod mount locked, the mounting foot hits the prism overhang.

With a bag bellows, you can probably use a 75 or 60 mm.
I used a view camera with a home made adapter and my Nikorex F with several enlarging lenses. Now you can tell how old I am.
Put your camera in the vertical position, rotate the entire setup 90 degrees and you now have tilt. A bit awkward, but it will work. Nikon PB 4
My wife of 30 years is Asian, because of her, I am in the Asian community a lot. I have found that most Asian parents are pleased to have their children photographed. All I do is show them the camera and point to the child, 99 times out of 100, the smile and nod their heads. When I show them the picture, they ALL smile and say , "Thank you."
I would never give up my 50/1.2 Nikor or my 180/2.8 Zeis Sonar that I see on my Nikon 7100!

Welcome from a fellow Houson resident! I shoot my granddaughter, as she loves to model.
Never thought about the symbolism of my AVITAR, so I changed it to a post of a portrait of me shot with a test version of a Sigma Quatropro set on monochrome, no post processing. Shot on a Saturday morning at Professional Camera Repair in Houston, where a bunch of us old geezers gather to have coffee and swap tall tales. Any one in the Houston area is welcome to join us between 8:30 and 10:30.
