Check to see if a local university has an OLLI (Osher Lifelong Learning Institute) connected with it. My wife and I belong to the Cal State Fullerton OLLI; membership is $255 per year, which includes free: parking, classes, campus internet, AND access to Lynda, plus much more. More info:

Get a Google Voice # (free); you can customize the message, so a caller thinks it's a regular answering machine. If I'm on my pc, I can see a call coming in, and have the option to answer it, hang up, or let it go to voice mail. If I let it go to voice mail, I then get a message in my Gmail indicating time, who called, a transcript of the call, and the option to listed to it.
My wife's pc was recently upgraded from Win 8.1 to Win 10. Various problems. My local computer shop discovered a number of virus's on the machine. They scrubbed it, and now it runs like a charm. Best $69 I ever spent.
I stopped using Firefox due to multiple issues (freezing up on me, etc). Use Chrome as my primary, but run Opera on my second monitor.
Having cruised there some 8 times, there is more snow on the mountains in late May, early June.
Be careful of what you should get with the purchase. I bought (some years ago) a pair of binoculars. The salesperson offered me a case to go with them, at an additional charge. "Doesn't it come with a case?" His response..."no". Turns out the shrink wrapped box had a soft case in the bottom; he charged me for a case that came with the purchase. Will NEVER deal with them again.
