I recently changed my browser from IE to Firefox because a favorite program had issues with it. Now I am having issues with Firefox. It gives me troubles with accessing Email and frequently comes up with "Can not find server". Anyone else out there having problems with Firefox?

Yup, since I started using Windows10. It times out when DL files over 100MB and did not do that before. IE does not time out so....

MS conspiracy???

Work around? Exit FF, clean the cache and it works again. This is possibly a FF bug. The new version may fix that, not sure, I have not installed it yet.

Have Windows 10 and Firefox, no trouble till last evening, Firefox asked to download new version (update?) and corrupted Firefox and was made nonworking. Used MS's E, downloaded Firefox directly and since have had no trouble.

Firefox works great. If it can't find the server, your modem isn't connected to your provider.

Try using Pale Moon browser. Basically, it's based on Firefox but without all the unnecessary add-ons - that you can really do without, and merely clog it up and slow it down.
I's also simpler to use. I've been using it as my preferred browser for years.
Give it a try, you won't be disappointed!

I stopped using Firefox due to multiple issues (freezing up on me, etc). Use Chrome as my primary, but run Opera on my second monitor.

Opera is the fastest browser I have ever used/seen in 20 plus years of working on computers...

I first used Opera approx 20 years ago.

Perhaps because their code seems much smaller, and they don't attempt to puff it up to look like the other browsers.

Ever notice how IE, Firefox, and Google Chrome operate the same way to encourage new users to switch, and then offer an endless stream of updates. Not so, Opera.

Firefox just a couple of days ago announced offering their new 64 bit browser.

????????????

The only add-on I use is ad-blocker. Maybe that's why I don't get any ads on UHH.
