Dynamite shot. Makes me wanna be there. Your patience really paid off...photography IS a waiting game!.

Regis: You continue to amaze me with your handheld bird shots. You could give lessons in how to handhold an 800mm lens. Please keep on posting those great shots that are razor sharp! I do fairly well with my 5Dsr + 100-400 f2.8L with an occasional X2, but you are SO consistent.
Do any of you uh'ers know the specific details of how Adobe stores activation data? Does it all reside on Adobe's servers or is there some component on my computer? I recently tried to launch Photoshop CS6 on an old laptop that hasn't been used for a long time. I currently have an activated CS6 on my desktop that I use daily. I have been informed by Adobe that I have too many activations. I back up my C drive (with all applications incl PS CS6) on a WD "MY BOOK" external drive using WD Acronis software. This software makes a complete, detailed image of the C drive, including all licensing data & (presumably) activation data. Does this backup count as 1 of my 2 allowed activations? I hate dealing with Adobe on this...I am hearing impaired & can't use telephone. Only option is Live chat. Thanks for any info you can provide.

I love the image. The COI (the bee) is razor sharp. I can count the fuzzy hairs on its head.
Hello Grace; I have used Acronis True Image for some time & can recommend it (something I am usually reluctant to do) because it works quite well (including photo files). I sleep better knowing I have a complete and accurate backup (including applications, activations, license info, etc). I hope you will be pleased with the result of using it.
Good luck,

Ed; Your flowers are all so perfect, especially this one. It is really captivating...I think due to the special color. And the composition is JPP (Just Plain Perfect). Please keep posting them.

Be sure to visit Glacier Point (it will be shown on the map of the park) to get a closeup of Half Dome.
Linda; That is a beautiful & compelling piece of art. You should print it & hang in on your wall to see every day!
All awesome but the B/W wins the prize
Awesome! As a grandfather I have watched my granddaughter grow up until she is now 9 yoa. They are such beautiful, inquisitive, innocent, bright little stars. Thanks for sharing yours with us. I am not a died in the wool people photographer, but your images of the little sweetheart are heartwarming. Many thanks.
Hey Beercat; Nothing to apologize for there. That image evokes a VERY strong response. Hard to describe properly...somewhat ethereal and surely makes me want to be there. I would be thrilled to hang it on my lvivng room wall to see it every day. A great piece of art.

Hi Linda From Maine. You & I have at least one thing in common...Love to shoot in fog. It is a great filter! Gives you the center of interest & filters out all the clutter. The three images you just posted are worthy of any person's living room wall. And you pick subject matter that really resonates with an old fashioned photographer like me. Keep on keepin' on.
