This lens is $1069 new @ B&H with a $200 rebate from Tamron. I think you should rethink price.

Very few people could tell you much about both. Love my Tamron.

Very nice. Looks like that Tamron likes your new 7D MKII.

That open beak is cool but, I like the last one most, it is more evenly lighted I think. Was this free hand or on tripod??

Great shots. 7D KK2 and 100-400 replace your 6D & 150-600?

Your photos are always so clear, regardless of equipment.

I did download DPP and it works. It does not replace the post processing capability of PS elements but, I cold at least view the photo.

Now, the question is; do I want to pay endless PS Elements upgrades as every new camera that come out, or not?

Thanks,

The 1st Topaz (color Sketch 2)is the one I like. But, you'll probably find opinions of what they "should" look like and everyone probably right.

Nice work and helpful for me to see the differences.

As far as I know the photo is no different right out of camera. But, if you want to do any correction or other post processing then you have lot more ability with raw file. I always shoot both.

Well, put my "bluebird" bird house up on edge of my deck. Bluebirds kept coming by, looked in but did not go in. The hole is 1" not 1 1/2" so, it is not really for bluebirds as I had thought.

BUT, these little ones love it. We have been enjoying them during breakfast each morning lately.

Using my 70-200 4.0

PS 12? Do you mean Photoshop Elements 12 maybe?

If it does not support your camera, then yes you would need to upgrade to Photoshop Elements 13, or join the subscription and get Photoshop CC.

Yes, PhotoShop Elements 12 (12.1)

Tks

Well, I've been using PS 12 for a year now and like it. BUT, my son just sent me a camera raw from his new 7D mark II and I can not open. Does that mean PS does not upgrade for camera formats UNLESS I buy an upgrade or jump to CC?

Is there a way to just get the camera format changes without other enhancements?

Thanks,
RegisG
