I have used a XP1 since its introduction. In all sorts of weather and situations. Still works just fine. Only upgraded, still Fuji, last year. Sometimes I wonder why did I bother.
If you were a film SLR photographer, I think you will enjoy the analog style controls. My XP1/XE1 combo was much like my Nikon F/Nikkormat combo back in the day.
Interesting thing about the XP1 and the first generation sensors is they are still considered by Fuji fans the best as to Fuji flavor, the characteristics that gave Fuji its great jpeg reputation. Fine sensor even today.

A RAW file is equivalent to a latent image on film.
It can now be developed by inspection. It can be developed again and again. It has not been fixed.
It can be manipulated in color, not just black & white.
A zone photographer could only dream of such.
I think he would have been delighted.

The NIK collection is intended to be used as plugins to other programs, such as Photoshop, Lightroom, Photoshop Elements, DXO, and Affinity. So, you must start out in the host application, then launch the NIK app of your choice from within the host. Once you finish with NIK, it returns you to the host and saves your work.

The original NIK modules can be used as individual standalone applications.

Excellent photography in your myportfolio.

Haven’t bought the 16-80mm yet. You recommend it?

The jury was out for me on this lens until I saw some photographs from two photographers using it. Those were very fine, full of Fuji flavor.
Tried to wait for sale.
Yes, I like it a lot.

Right they did that on the X-H1 and I bought it. Will not be discontinued. X-H2 coming in 2021.

Yeah, I got the X-H1 also. X-H2 should be quite interesting.
I speaking more on the production of camera model being discontinued not series.
I use my X-T20 with the 16-80mm. Finally gave in and bought the lens. Use the X-H1 with my primes.

Wrong! The price will go lower.

I doubt it, but anything is possible. They did same with the X-H1 last year at $999.99. Usually this is their price point before discontinuing. Perhaps throw in battery grip?
The 16-80mm has not been on sale and not part of a combo at this price until recently.
Still it is a great deal new.

It is lowest price you will get for that combo. Fuji will not discounted further.
The 16-80 mm has excellent OIS. Tripod aware.
Excellent deal.

So I view this with a great deal of skepticism. This is yet another new 3rd tier “cloud storage” company that supposedly uses AWS as their storage provider, but if so:

Does “AWS” mean Amazon S3 storage? AWS can simply mean that they run their application on AWS, but don’t use S3 storage, and if they do, what’s their value add? Are they reselling S3 storage or just providing a portal, and if so, why would you want to deal with them instead of directly with Amazon - just one more single point of failure between you and the storage provider.

They’re a UK company, so where is the storage? If it’s in the UK, it makes no sense to use it in America - the latency will kill you.

They are so new and so unknown that there’s not even a page in Wiki or on Wiki’s list of cloud storage providers, and on their page, the “about us” button doesn’t even work - we know zero about their management, facilities and most importantly, their financial position. And if they go belly up, which is likely, because NO ONE has yet figured out how to provide 5TB of reliable lifetime storage for a one time price of $99 (unless you buy 50 100GB MDisks), how will you access your data.

I’m all for cloud storage for DR, but you get what you pay for, and if you really want to be safe, use a major provider that you know will be here such as Amazon S3, Microsoft, Google, Apple, IBM, etc. Beware the hundreds of start up “cloud” companies - many/most won’t survive long term.

Been using Polar (formerly Zoolz) for 5 years.
Part of the Genie9 backup software company. Been using Genie9 for local backup for even more years. They put this on sale really cheap also.
The software is simple, easy to use.
Had to contact them once about upgrade problem. Quick response and fix.
It is cold storage. Might call it deep freeze but heck.
The email I got was 5TB + 5TB for $99. Two accounts. Need two different email accounts.

Was that the film Valley Uprising?
If not, and you enjoy rock climbing, this film is a bit of an historical perspective, and it does a segment on Alex Honnold.

Food for thought...
For those who use mirrorless with IBIS
Caution: Sensor cleaning can very easily damage IBIS
Proceed at your own risk...

Any system with IBIS will require more caution when cleaning. There is a process that must be followed.

For Fuji camera X-H1
Turn camera ON.
Turn IBIS OFF.
Turn 'shoot with no lens' OFF.

You already have modes P, A, S, and M. You also have exposure compensation. I'm sure you can control ISO, shutter speed and/or aperture, what more dial controls are you looking for?

Perhaps these?

The Fuji X-T3 w/ XF 16-80mm is on sale at the most inexpensive price it will ever be.
Top shelf Fuji jpeg quality.
Analogue style exposure controls. Aperture ring, shutter speed, ISO.
Much like an old Nikon SLR but digitized.
Most excellent combo.

I use Canon "Protect" filters on my Canon lenses. Yes, they are a rather high dollar (non) filter.
I'm pretty sure that Canon doesn't want their fine optics mucked up with a $buck.ninety-eight (cheap) filter.
