Eventually, these things will become smart enough to believe humans are a virus on the earth and will launch a nuclear attack that will wipe out all human life on earth. They won't understand it will wipe out all life due to nuclear winter nor will it understand that without humans so many systems will fail that they will doom themselves.

An obvious si-fi story if not already written.

Microsoft Technician Scam - I Fell For it

I had false charges for online gambling (I don't) gamble online or otherwise> The bank kept sending me replacement cards which were hacked even before they arrived! I also received unsolicited from other banks as well. I contacted the the financial regulator (Australia) and all charges were refunded within two days. I left that bank and now have a debit card with a high end online only bank plus Amex cards. This took almost a year to sort out.

Outing my own stupidity ... and dumb luck

Talking about stupid! Yesterday I parked my car but left it in drive. Of course, it rolled forward into a suv. Only a few scratches on the other car. The owner has to check out the electric hatch, however. He wasn't quite sure that it is working properly. We'l know in a couple of days. I'm near the point of giving up driving anyway. I still have comprehensive insurance on my car, fortunately!
