Awsome shots! Never have I seen a Robber Fly with a white/yellowish fur coat like this. So far in Massachusetts I've only seen them all black.

that would mean that a spec of dust was only on there for that 1 shot. Because none of the shots prior or after had a mark or spec of dust anywhere on my lens showing in my pics.

To the left is the shot with the UFO circled in red and then again enlarged for better viewing. The shot on the right side is the very next shot I took after shot #1. Shot #1 was shot at ISO6400, F4, 1.2s while shot #2 was shot at ISO6400, F4, 3.7s

I can see the more apparent dead pixels when zooming in on the picture on my cameras screen. So def not software related.

I recently had my canon 6D sent in for a tune up/inspection by Best Buy's Geek Squad and after inspection they decided that the costs of repair were too great therefor I was granted a walk in replacement of my camera for a brand new one. I was satisfied to say the least until I returned home later that evening to review all of the shots I had taken with my brand new 6D only to discover that I could see a large amount of dead pixels all in the exact same spot in every picture. This is one of the reasons I had sent my camera in for a tune up in the first place. Is this normal? Has anyone else ever seen this amount of dead pixels in their shots off of a brand new camera? Do you think Best Buy will exchange my camera for another brand new one? Here are some shots where I circled all the dead pixels I could find.

It looks like the branches and sticks are dead and have turned a dark gray/black color and due to the shape of the pile of branches and sticks its reflection in the water is causing it to form a C shape due to symmetry. If you want it to be of the same brightness as the rest of the shoreline then I would recommend lightening/dodging the pile of branches and sticks as well as its reflection.

I feel ya on that one. Im in the same predicament. I need to send my camera out to get fixed and cleaned but it's my only camera and I can't be without it right now. Good luck to you and your issue. I hope you get it taken care of soon.

Thats what I was thinking but When I saved the watermark in Photoshop I had no addition layers underneath the watermark graphic layer. Basically it got saved with the standard checkard transparent backgraoud within photoshop. Do you know if there are ways of adjusting the amount of transparency within the file being saved?

I shoot with a Canon 6D as well Photog21. I noticed a few cross hair spots and a few red and blue light spots on my pictures only 2 months after purchasing my camera. The spots in my pics are always in the same spot in every picture which lead me to believe they were all dead pixels. Now a year and a half later I notice that it sometimes depends on what ISO I'm shooting at and sometimes what shutterspeed as to weather I see the spots. Also at first I was shooting mainly RAW+JPEG and would notice the spots in almost every JPEG picture and didn't notice them as much in the RAW pics. Today is a different story. Where as I use to do all my RAW processing in Canon's Digital Photo Professional I would see all the dead/stuck pixels in there and would remove them with the touch up tool. But now sinse Adobe Lightroom 4.4 supports the Canon 6D's RAW files I have been usig that 90% of the time where I hardly ever see any of the pixel spots I was seeing in Digital Photo Professional. So Maybe it's as speters said about it having to do with which software your using. Although I dont see mine in Lightroom anymore I still believe them to be there but haven't sent my camera out for cleaning or inspection so I dont know as to the true reason of the cause.

I've noticed that when I apply a watermark within Lightroom to my picture that it slightly darkens the entire photo. This is annoying me because I want my un-watermarked picture to look identical to my watermarked copy. Has anyone else noticed this and does anybody know why it's happening and how I can avoid it/fix it? I created my watermark within Adobe Photoshop 7.0 and saved it as a .PNG file then went about the necessary steps within Lightroom to apply it to my pictures. Also I'm using Lightrooom version 4.4. The difference is subtle but when I look hard enough I can tell. The easiest way for me to see the difference is when I have both pictures open within Windows Photo Viewer and I swap back and fourth from the 2.

I took this sunrise photo on 9/11 at a beach near my house. This is just 1 out of the many I took that morning. If anyone would be so kind to point out anything I did that I shouldn't have done and what I could do to make it better. Much thanks.

This was day 2 for me in my venture into HDR. Yesterday I took a stroll around the neighborhood to maybe find something interesting and I popped out this shot. I was using an old wide angle lens when shooting a combo of 3 shots to make this picture.
