I have a Panasonic GF3 and according to my manual they call it TEXT STAMP (page 148)
Like the Young Ones tribute!
And what BRANCH of security is he in?
In March we came to Pittsburgh to visit my son and new daughter-in-law. One day we dropped down to Washington and wander around the outside of the White House where we saw this fellow!!
Maybe our friends across the pond don't understand that the "Sun" is a tabloid newspaper that sometimes has very little actual news content! But a really great Page 3!!!
Last year I took the plunge and went from P&S to a Panasonic Lumix GF3. Daunted by the larger models that looked so complicated, I opted for the smaller 4/3 type to start on the DSLR. The smaller models are ideal starting on the DSLR ladder, we don't want to buy professional cameras costing thousands. A very good smaller DSLR with a few whistles and bells is fine!
Thanks for that, I did not realise that part was still running. I did hear on the news this morning that Jessups has been bought and is re-opening some stores, about 30 I think. So that is good news for them and for us. It is good to save money buying online, but it is better to get "hands on" to appreciate what you are buying. Once again, many thanks for the help.
Thanks Lakegirl. Will have a look at your suggestions. And will take into consideration the quality issue. Global positioning in these digital days will not be an issue! Regards - Oldvolvoman
Thanks Baz, I use Chrome. But your previous link took me straight to it. Cheers
Thanks, Haveago! That's exactly what I wanted! Cheers!
Don B - Are you being deliberately obtuse?
Hi, I've just got rid of my Canon P&S. Being somewhat daunted by the bigger cameras, I opted for a Panasonic GF3. Please, stop laughing! It has changeable lenses, F stops (whatever they are!) and all manner of stuff I have no idea about. But, I am learning!! Now my question is, where can I get a "photo book"? I don't use iPhoto. I am in the UK. Jessops, a camera shop that has gone bankrupt, did do them but not anymore! Can anyone recommend somewhere! Regards - Oldvolvoman
I see a lot of UHH members use Gorilla Pods. I'm new to all this, so after buying one for my Panasonic compact, I find it won't fit in my bag! Can anybody suggest a bag to attach to a strap, or something else?
