Well, when you do get to scanning the slides one important thing to do is put in the correct date (just the year/month will do). I did not do that and , of course all my 1960 slide have meta data dates of the day I scanned them. I now have hundreds to correct!!!

to find details of your Mac click on the small apple icon top left, then "about this mac". This will tell you everything you need.

Yes, you are able to use it on 2 © computers e.g. Desktop and laptop. To use on a third computer you would have to" de authorise" one of the 2. You can ,anyway, use it on iPhone and iPad. They can be all interconnected, so that whatever is done on one (I.e. Computer, laptop,iPhone or iPad) is synced to the others.
Hope this helps.

Just another thought. If you moved or copied the files to your archived folder then surely LR does not have them in its catalogue. Have you 'imported' them into LR. If so then I cannot understand why the keywords are not there.

I have just googled the following. "where are keywords stored in LR5".
Try it. The result from that search leads to Adobe response "in the XMP side car file in the case of RAW files or in the photo file".
Hope this helps.

How did you move the files to the hard drive? You must understand when a file is "imported" into LR all that happens is LR simply records where the file is in your computer (or hard drive} it just makes a note of where the file is. If you move a file without using LR to move it then LR will still think it is where it was(if that makes sense). If you use LR then you must always use LR to do the moving.
Are you using a Mac or Windows machine?

Hello there,
I looked at the plugins in PP and downloaded the 'wireworm' plugin. However, I am confused as the download contains two files - wireworm.8bc and wireworm.chm. What do I do with these?

There is no better or best. Just a little different. Nikon owners love theirs just like the Canon owners love theirs. They both do fantastic jobs but the real test is the 6 inches behind the camera. That's the truth and the end of the story.

And Sony owners?????
