I bought a 5740 HP printer 2 months ago. The concept sounded good. $4 a month for 50 pages. I had been paying about $14 a month for HP ink. I thought, why not cut the ink cost 70%. I use Adobe Photoshop Elements 13 for editing. Most often I print black and white Word documents, and perhaps 4 images per month @ 11x8.5 color prints. Other color pics are ordered from commercial printers. I tried many settings on the printer and they did not help one iota. The color was pitiful. Adobe PSE 13 default color setting was “always optimize for computer screen”. Once I set that to “always optimize for printing”, the quality improved drastically! Glad to say I am enjoying the savings now!
After months of thinking it was the fault of the printer, this is the site that had the answer.

#2 for me. Although there is little color, the red lights tell me cars are stopped and street light is red too. I must add I have always seen in technicolor. I have inferior appreciation for BnW photos.

You may drive around Savannah in a few hours. What an injustice to describe this historic city. I live on Hilton Head Is. It takes about an hour for us to travel to Savannah. Perhaps it depends on your interst. There are no hills. Walking is not challenging. Our camera club spent a day and the variety of images taken was outstanding. Traveling to nearby sites could occupy weeks. Google will provide lots of information. I would be happy to chat.

The best answer is to use a remote switch: RS80n3 or timer remote controller TC 80N3. I used VELLO BT0313 and that device does NOT work on the 6D.

Tried that too. One click and release results in the same manner, a 1 second exposure.

I have used a Canon 7D for years and recently bought a 6D. I am pursuing night photography and find the BULB feature confusing. When I change to the BULB feature, it requires me to hold the shutter button down and it takes the picture as soon as I release the button. If I hold it down for 50 seconds and release it, it takes a 50 second image. But what if I want to take one for 6 hours? Do I have to stand by the camera with my finger on the shutter button? Help!

Several of my friends are Nikon owners. I am a Canon owner. We are trying to assemble descriptions with different names that are essentially the same. Anti shake vs image stabilization as an example. We would appreciate your input.

As long as the package of LR/PSCC includes a complete and equal version of PSE I am all for it. However a 30 trial package did not include PSE 12'.

Thanks for the info. There r 2 deals. 1 full PS for $25 a mo, 2 PSCC+Lightroom for $9,99 a month. Third option PSE 12/?? version probably for around $100. PSE Version soon to be version 13. I have friends using LR for some processing and image organization and then switch to PSE for further processing. For $10 a month you can get both PSE & Lightroom?

My pc died and just bot a new one. I have been an advanced user of PSE 11. I hear there may be PSE 13 any day now. I took advantage of a free 30 day trial. I was shocked to see this version which must be PSE 9! Do you know if I buy the $9.99 @ mo special, will I get PSE 13?

I live on HHI. I would be delighted to give you a tour if you have the time. We live in Sea Pines plantation. The least I can do is call you in a free pass to our plantation. There are loads of photo ops. Birds, flowers, historical sights, where to capture sun rise, sun sets, gators, Atlantic ocean, beach scenes etc. Pick a day or two and I'll do my best to accommodate your schedule. Email to rich@rwdaley.com would be the best way to communicate.
