Hi there .....no unfortunately the virus is rampant, we have a few pockets in the island where they have been fenced off in the wild to try to maintain a clean population.
Hi Tom, the scientific name is Platycercus caledonicus and it belongs to the family of the rosellas. here we know it as a green rosella and is only found in the wild in this beautiful island of ours.
marsupial that is endemic to Tasmania, a bit different to the one portrayed in the cartoons :) although it does chew through bone like if it was butter.
