Thought I would go out and hunt a Hawk to shoot...and I was fortunate enough to find one that was willing to pose for me

Nice hawk with a very "northern" background. You did a great job capturing this bird---good head shot and also body shots. The back grourn really struck me since it sorta looks like winter----I like the dark colors. I shot shot a pair of hawks here in south Florida with bright blue skies behind them---the "southern" background. Your winter look is quite refreshing.

Lol...thank you for your very kind words Larry...but I would much rather have your "southern" background right now😉 Will I ever get use to this cold?? Sure do miss my Carolina😰
