marsupial that is endemic to Tasmania, a bit different to the one portrayed in the cartoons :) although it does chew through bone like if it was butter.

That is one use of the word. It also describes something that is native to or limited to a particular area or country.

Your first shot shows an animal that appears friendly - nice. The second shot with teeth shows that it is not a creature to mess with. You're right, they do not look much like the caricature that is often seen.

Look up both spellings. of what??? everybody KNOWS what an epidemic is. the word was endemic
