Color for sure. Color defines the subject.
Beautiful!! The foreground makes the picture, in my mind.
Somewhere, sometime, someplace I heard or saw a saying: "The fragrance always lingers on the hand that gives a rose." I think it lingers on a picture, also. Or did I imagine? Beautiful artistry!!
Duane; Wonderful series! Any of them could hang around on my wall any time!
I'm 90 years old, so I don't do that any more. Come to think of it, I never did! What a fantastic series!!!
Love it! I,too, am a sunset freak.
I don't think Kodak had a Kodacolor slide film. Must have been Kodachrome, msybe? Kodacolor was the color negative film.
Every time I look at this, I start laughing! What a great shot!
Beautiful picture, Ed. And thanks for the quotation from Goeth. I am a ninety-year-old retired accountant; but if anyone should ask me, I might say, "photographer," My pictures allow me to savor the beauty of places in this wonderful world that I know I will never again visit. Many bring back memories of events and people, giving me one more fleeting glimps of a fading past.

JudgeRock: Great idea. I am within a month of my 90th birthday. About all I have left are the memories. I was Navy right at the end of WWII. One brother was Marine Corp, another was Air Force. One grandson is Marine Corp, another is Army Reserve. Various cousins, neices and nephews are or were in various branches of military service Guess you could call us a military family. You have reminded me that I better be sending out some pictures to those who are left before I make the final journey. Thank you.
I wouldn't change a thing, except for putting the writing in a discreet size across the bottom. Beautiful shot!
Beautiful shot! Especially enjoyed because my ancestors came from Islay
Color, for sure. Great shot!
