I am also going on a river cruise in April (Amsterdam - Basel{Viking}). I plan on taking my first steps into the mirrorless world with the Nikon Z50 and it's two kit lenses (16-50 & 55-250mm). I decided to leave my hefty DSLR gear home and spend more time with my companion and enjoy the views a little more.
I was days away from upgrading to an iMac Pro 27" when I heard it was being discontinued. So now I am wondering if buying a discontinued unit is worth the hefty investment. my current machine is a late 2012 model with i7/3.4 GHZ intel processor, 32GB. I am starting to run low on RAM and this model can not be upgraded to Big Sur OS.....................Any thoughts on what my next move should be??
I use Photo Mechanic. Not cheap but you get what you pay for.
Working on natural lighting while on quarantine.
Great response. Thank you all.
Thanks for the rapid response!!
I am in the market for a Reliable Intervalometer for D810 & D500. Anyone have suggestions.
Thank you all for your responses. Very helpful.
I plan on trying to shoot the stars soon. I use Nikon DX and Full frame gear. Trying to decide if I should use the D810 With the 24-70mm 2.8 or 20mm, 1.8 full frame. Or go with the D500 with the 35mm 1.8 or a Tonkina 11-16, 2.8. Maybe something not listed?? Any thoughts are appreciated

Early morning works best IMHO.
Has anyone tried this software and if so would you like to offer an opinion?
