I was at this car show on Friday. It's a three day car show that is held at the duchess county fairgrounds in Rheinbeck NY. Great location with some awesome cars. I will go back.

Hi. I have recently gotten really interested in photography. Have utilized the iPhone 6 camera as well as an inexpensive canon point and shoot camera. I recently bought a canon G3 X and I wonder if if I made a mistake by not buying a DSLR camera.

I like taking photos of historical places such as FDR's home in Hyde Park NY or the Newport mansions. I also like taking photos of boats, the ocean, eagles etc. I don't take photos every day. In fact, weeks could go by where I don't use the camera at all.

So, did I make a mistake purchasing the canon G3 X? I can afford to buy a decent DSLR but I don't want to spend a lot of money on lenses, etc.
