Oh, I thought Jerry that maybe I'll use a black magic marker over the model number of my DSLR. :)
Not.

Sorry I didn't include this, but I have Canon 5DII, four of them as a matter of fact. Getting the shutter count on each would influence my usage.
Canon shutter count will be appreciated, and thanks.
Bill
For those of us still using the old fashion 'mirror' DSLR, is there an easy way to get the shutter count?
Thanks.
Bill
One Missourian to another, you've done us well!

You are so right. He was such a role model for everyone to try to learn more science.

Thank you for that reminder. Every fall, I design and put up posters for my spring class. This year I used Carl Sagan's quotes.

Add this to the mix if you like. I not only have three wall clocks that respond to WWV, but I also have seven "radio controlled watches" that also respond to WWV.
And before anyone might ask: why would I have so many watches? Here's a thought. When we took our first cruise, our travel agent told me: women purchase jewelry on the cruise ship, men purchase watches'? Really? Well, I followed that "axiom", and now with each watch I put on, I'm reminded in what part of the world we were visiting when the watch was purchased. A great idea.
Are they really suggesting it cost 27 million a year to run WWV? It IS the standard in time control. I live in Missouri, and by having the clocks (and watches) face the West, and reset is very reliable.
But, 27 million to run a radio station?
Would you be inspired to share with us how you created that image?
Bill
Extremely beautiful. I hope you have that framed so that you can see it every day.
Bill
That is very generous of you.

I've used Photoshop for nearly 20 years, paid for each upgrade, and learned a great deal. No complaints. But when Adobe switched over to the "rental" plan, I was finished. With all the stolen copies, as I would hear others in MicroCenter brag about how many different copies they have at NO expense, I didn't blame Adobe to switch to that rental plan. But not for me. So I switched to Affinity Photo and could not be happier. I'll enjoy their continuation of free updates, and remember, the initial cost was about $50. A super value program, and a very bargain price.
Pickles is, by far, my favorite cartoon script. Best ever!!

Talk more about the conversion of RAW files to DNG, would you please?
On another point, I'm using my iMac with 10.13.6, which I'm sure is 'ancient' but today's standards. What stopped me from updating? The last two times I updated, I lost *a printer, *a scanner, and *a Wacom. Is this the first time I've lost hardware because of an OP update? No. Will it be the last? Yes.
Let's see, I'm doing all my photography with Affinity Photo which works just fine with 10.13.6. Their upgrades are all free, but the version I'm using is limited only by my imagination. As for Microsoft Office, Word does all that I need for test writing, and Power Point does everything I need for my teaching too. Sooooo, why exactly should I be upgrading my OP?

Okay, here it is, from my experience. First, in my classroom, I use the projector every single day. My physics students benefit from color illustrations, and the resolution is perfect.
Now, at home. Since I need to tread five days a week, I need 'brain food', and I have more than 1,000 movies to select from. So I purchased an Optoma projector from Amazon, and never been sorry since. The image is very bright, and although I purchased a replacement lamp (in advance of need), the original one continues to work very well, for ... I think four years now.
