I don't like Picassa either. I had a similar experience to Mike. It does take over all your images and you have little control....like several other programs on Google. I think if you use it from the get-go, you might be ok, but when you have thousands of images on different drives, it wants to use them all! There is little instruction on what to do or impossible to find. I use LR and PS together and have never been disappointed with the ease of use or losing something valuable or destroying an original.
You all have great points of view. Viet Nam was a fiasco - very sad indeed. And the soldiers came home and were treated like sh.. and still suffer from all the trauma, agent orange, etc. I didn't fight, however, I sure respect the ones who did.
My history goes way back...several that fought in the civil war. One woman, (ancestor) Deborah Sampson disguised herself as a man to fight in the civil war and was only dismissed after she was wounded and they discovered "he" was a she. My hat, or hairs off to anyone that has served anywhere in our history for this great country we are blessed to be a part of. I'm not discounting other great countries, just glad I am an American.
Hi! I'm in San Antonio. Nikon user.
I don't know, we have a generation of pretty lazy kids in general. Yes there still are some great ones, however so many feel entitled these days and it is our own fault. I love the young people that make it through the military academies - true leaders in MY opinion. We need some really smart ones as we most certainly will be tested ....don't want any more of the 9-11 stuff.
Like .20 a listing....nothing. I have a shop there if you would like an example.
I laugh at the people who think that our freedoms were acquired by idle "chit-chat". I applaud all who have fought and given service to this country, including my father, brother and husband. From a very proud daughter, sister and wife.
I like Etsy...you can set up your own shop and charge what you wish.
Nice shots, Bekkie. My husband and I love our bikes. I'm always riding my own, so I seldom can take pics, and stopping is to eat or hit the ladies. If we are going to a motorcycle function, we don't ride - I just take pics. (Austin's ROT rally) Too hot here for all that stuff these days!
I like the 3 votes and assign a 1, 2 or 3 and then there will be a first, second and third place. It feels better than just one winner, period. Just another thought.
Someday I will get the hang of the threads. I am saying me to for a 800mm prize for being on the contest judging panel :-D
