Some I've taken over the years... Not all the best shots, but couldn't throw them away.
The Pregnant Pumpkin was done by my cousin, who is also a nurse. She made this for the nurses that help with the delivery of the new borns. It was a big hit....;0)
I did see em lass. Couldn't tell what he was up to up there though.
My entry for today after missing the last few. Retirment makes it really tough to schedule everything on the agenda. I think this fits the task for this day. The structure holds a little nostalgia for me. It's a one room school house, whats left of it, where my great grandfather taught, grandfather and father graduated from 8th grade, and I spent last 7 days of my third grade year. Quite a few years ago that is. Question for anyone out there that might have the knowledge about the ridge treatment on the roof. I thought that it might have been associated with a lightning aresting system but dad didn't thinks so. May just be decorative but sure feel there may be some additional purpose.
Roadrunner, cutting out all that labor intensive bucket collecting you would hope that the price of pure maple syrup would come down, but for some reason I haven't seen that happening. Guess I'm shopping the wrong stores.
Besides echoing the sentiment that All Ya'll are inspiring I need to add a few more of my personal photo fetishes. Sticks and stones for one and I don't care what trail I travel there is no way to pass up Gnarly!
Digital photography makes for a lot of fun. there were about 15 shots waiting for the rest of the family. Probably would not have done that shooting with film.
