Day 58 - Photo A Day Challenge - 2-27-2012

Welcome to Day 58 :) I was sitting here thinking about this challenge for today .. feeling kind of nostalgic .. so I thought why not make this one about Personal Photography. Photos that capture a moment in time..places you've been, things you've done, people you will never see again, and when you look at them it takes you back to that moment in time. The kind of photography that probably doesn't mean anything to anybody but you. I have a lot of those. Photos of my mom and dad who have both passed away. Pictures of my children growing up, special people in my life .... things that make them totally unique. Best of all we don't even need to leave the house for this one. I look forward to what's personal to you.
this is me in 1978 .. I pretty much still look the same .. even got the same haircut recently LOL
me and my youngest .. he's 31 yrs old now
my youngest grand daughter when she was in 3rd grade ... she's going into high school next year.
my best friend in the whole world ... I couldn't have a better mate if I would have made him in a laboratory :)
5 of our 6 children haha
this is our dream home .. way in the mountains with lots of room for the heathens
and a great view with lots of photo ops ... a girl has to have her priorities :)

I do not know what i am doing up this late. I fell asleep during the awards show and now I am here.
1978....so pretty. SMOKEY TREATS...oh my.

Well....cool....I will do this tomorrow...maybe I wont have to be on so late and can join in the discussion...Heres me at 15 I think..a year later I was married!

Old pictures are great ! Nice set of pix...and the cabin in the woods ! Last summer after I had some work done on my shoulder,I spent a couple night with my sister and pulled out the tubs of pictures and went through them...I took my little Canon P&S and took a bunch of pictures and they actually came out very nice ! I'll post some when I get up ! This will be fun...

Those are great Rivernan! I love seeing peoples pictures then I think of them more clearly when I can get a picture in my mind of their faces!

Ann....last summer I took a bunch of pictures of old pictures and they came out great ! Try it ! or if you have a scanner...taking pictures works faster...

absolutely! That was an old nikon f2...and it took great pics! I still have that camera.
