Talk to the head lighting tech at the auditorium. He should be able to tell you EXACTLY how much light you'll have to work with. He can probably tell you the exposure, too. Tell him that you want to use ISO 200, for instance - and he should be able to tell you 'shoot at 1/125 & f8' or something like that. And, he can ensure you that all the musicians are equally well-lit.
