I am using Olympus lenses on my Panasonic GX8. They work well. Panny lenses should be OK with your camera.
Google "focus stacking". I just did and found more than enough to get you started.
This is what the Geek Squad tech told me happened to my machine.
Be aware that SSD drives require constant power. Bought a high level laptop recently with both SSD and standard drive. It ran beautifully until the battery. Lost everything on the SSD and some of what was on the standard drive. Luckily I still had my old laptop intact and recovered my data. OS had to be reinstalled. All photos and backups are on externals so no grief there. New laptop runs like anew one now.
