I love my Canon SX50. Bought it from Canon website refurbished for $229. Zooms to a max that I can't handhold but low light ability good. This was a big upgrade from 35mm for this beginner.
I upgraded my Macbook Pro to yosemite 2 weeks ago without a glitch. I had to upgrade several apps to bring them inline with the newer software and that went seamlessly as well. It has been working fine ever since.
