Unlike with a film camera, you will probably never see the shutter in a digital camera. If you do, there is something seriously wrong with it.

I'll bet none of us Hogs have ever gone out to a shoot and discovered our battery was nearly dead, Bet that never happens!

I've never once done that at my son's music recital.

Ted Forbs will be happy. He is big fan and evidently has a large collection.

Why didn't I do that search?
Thanks!

Steven, be aware that the Wein Cell batteries are Zinc/air type batteries and don't last very long. They will drain even when not in use. I ordered several for my Luna Pros and was disappointed in their lifespan.
I'm currently on the hunt for a battery that lasts longer for both my light meters and my Nikon F.

I never use exposure compensation. I compensate through f-stop, shutter, or ISO.

Me too. I'm not sure that I've ever used it.

When using an adjustment layer, such as curves, what is the purpose of inverting the mask? Thanks.
Are you talking about inverting the selection? If so, then it can be easier to select, say the sky, because it may be uniform, then invert the selection to select what you really wanted, the foreground which may be harder to make as a selection.

Anyone you may know? Funny that YOU would write this since you are one of the worst offenders on this forum. Not to mention the time you spend here. Look at your post count. Over 12000!!

He just types fast, really, really fast.

From everything that I've read, the Sigma Art series lenses are exceptionally good. Check DxO mark for comparisons, they may even have tested a pre-release copy of the 24-70.

I've not tried the 24-70, but I have 3 Tokina lenses, 11-16 2.8, 100mm 2.8 macro and a 35mm 2.8 (for pentax k-mount) and I've been very pleased with all three. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another Tokina lens.

That is true, the important one too, Manual. Actually I've been known to not even use a meter when shooting B&W film.

Ah yes, the old draw from years of experience trick.
