is your choice.
I shot in Aperture a long time & decided to try Manual. I like the full control in manual but Aperture is a lot of fun from the artistic side. What is your choice?📷📷📷📷📷📷📷📷📷

Best of both your worlds: I set aperture and shutter speed, and let the camera choose the ISO (auto ISO). I keep an eye on tricky exposure situations, in case I need to override.

Depends, normally it's aperture-preferred or full manual. Been playing with auto ISO myself lately.
Doesn't play well with flash, but otherwise I'm impressed.

Always M unless I shooting snaps. Then I'll use P.

For sports I use shutter priority. I select the shutter speed first than choose an ISO that will put the aperture at about f8.

You have hundreds of folks capable of giving you as many different answers. Which one do you want/expect to make you happy?

I shoot most of my shots through my car window, set on auto. But when Im out on foot I like to take control of my settings.

Better than 90% of the time I shoot aperture priority. I keep an eye on the shutter speed and adjust the aperture dial to keep the shutter speed in the range I want, If the light get too low I manually adjust the ISO. I have the movie button on two of my cameras repurposed as an ISO button.

With all the information available in the viewfinder, and every adjustment at your fingertips without taking your eye from the viewfinder, what mode you choose really doesn't matter. Of course I "assume" you are paying attention to all that information.

On Pentax K-5, K-20D, K-100D

Most often: Aperture Priority (first set ISO), watch Shutter Speed; "Av" on Pentax.
Second most often: Full Manual; "M" on Pentax.
Third (for action mostly): Shutter Priority (first set ISO), watch F-Stops. I don't ignore anything (for long); "Tv" on Pentax.

Rare, experiment: Sensitivity / Manual Auto-ISO; "Sv" on Pentax (I'm not sure I understand these two modes)*
Rare, experiment: Auto-ISO / Auto-ISO; "ATv" on Pentax (I'm not sure I understand these two modes)*

Program Automatic (never)
Green Full Auto (truly never)

* any other Pentax users truly understand these modes?

Not sure why Aperture priority should provide any more "artistic fun" then manual, but as long your happy.... I shoot manual around 80-85% of the time. The rest mostly in aperture priority.

I was raised on manual and so that's what I like. I shoot sports wide open at 2.8.

Either full manual or auto ISO. In auto ISO, I set the shutter speed I need to freeze the action, aperture to get the DOF I require (often wide open or a stop down), and let the ISO fall out where it will while keeping an eye on it in the event I may need to compromise. In the end, I can ameliorate noise due to high ISO to some extent, but I can't fix blurry shots due to inadequate shutter speed or wrong DOF (either too little or too much). That's my rationale... Note that I'm usually shooting action shots in low light rather than landscapes, etc. If I were shooting more carefully composed shots, I'd probably use a different procedure.
