Lighthouse was indeed being insensitive, yet his critique seems to be accurate. He could have couched his words in a more politically correct manner, but he did not. this may be his way. (remember in Karate Kid, the sensee was harsh, yet fair and enlightening. (forgive my spelling))
When we see an image of a child we focus in it and the potential life it may live. Perhaps we subjugate our life into the life of the child and take offense when one criticizes it.
Having said that, the green needs to be softened imho. But for the most part the pic is really beautiful.

WOW, dude, you guys have been saying stuff like this ever since, has any of your predictions come true? NO! Get over your paranoia and start working with the system instead of against it. Then maybe you can make some positive change instead of the negative trend we have been dealing with.
Are these the same creature with the same image? How did you make them look so different?
I guess I want to know your tricks, but understand if you don't want to divulge. Just tell me did you use different filters, Or another trick?
Dude, I know from nothing about this stuff, yet I have an opinion. The first shot is the best, don't know why...it just feels that way. I just wonder how she would look if her arm was just a little tighter into her torsos?
You asked and I answered.

I live in western NC, Perhaps the fractiong we are are going to get involved with has done some thing to the evolution of our native rabbits?
Really though, the original images had a multi colored eyeball. Half was black and the other was purple. The eyeball was half and half, black and purple.
I tried using Picasa to help with the eye. It is the first time I have done any PP other than Cropping. This image is cropped and I can redo the whole pic. I am not sure how to change the eye's color. You should have seen it before i tried to retouch it!
Also how do download, to this site the pic and its info?
In the early evening I sit out on the porch and write, But I always have the camera out, just in case.
Well I saw this guy and figured wth? I just down loaded Picasa and tried to see what I can do with it. Not much it turns out. The eye is a particular problem. When I tried to get rid of the multi-colored pupil nothing good happened. So i used the fine tuning and got this. I enhanced the colors a little. And I cropped it too.
What do ya think? I am going to get Aperture or Lightroom some time, but for now this is my program of choice.
thanks for your critique!

Way Cool! It looks like a tempest is brewing...O yeah he just got married!
Thanks, Linda From Maine. Are you on the coast or close to Baxter State Park?
Thanks St3v3M for the link. I'm gonna spend a minute reading that Guide.
OK, I have the basic guide for Picasa. one of the things I want to know...can I select a subject from an image and enhance it? Or can I exclude a subject and enhance everything else?
