Great shots both color and clarity! What is this kind of fencing used for? It’s unusual .

But I'll bet not cheaper than B&H - that's what the OP is looking for.

Not necessarily true. I have probably bought three or four lenses from them and maybe two cameras and while prices might be comparable, and even lower on occasion, shipping is free and there was no tax. Big advantage.

I'm glad you wrote the company. Customer complaints can sometimes create action.

Nothing was done.....I had a duel purpose in writing company. I took my car to a honda place.....I watched the entire time.....pulled the car in, attached computer(what, 3 sec?), walked around the car.....came and told me the good and bad news. The ABS wire in the back had been chewed thru BUT they could splice it.......great.....cost? Well they kept the car in that bay for 2 hrs......like I said, I watched them the whole time.....they charged me $5.00 to splice the wire....and $264 for labor....!!!!!!!! I cried. Swore I would never take a care to a dealership again, wrote the letter re: both incidences and.....heard nothing....not even a 'form letter'.....shortly after that Honda place in Rochester NY sold out to a new buyer.....honestly....I think they took advantage of the fact I was a female....
Anyway....that was 3 lease cars ago~

I would think it's a mouse problem. Not the cars fault.

Well like the mechanic told me....its because the wires are now coated w/ a soy based covering (not oil based)....which rodents like.....a lot.

Peppermint oil. My dealer (Hyundai) recommended a spray that Walmart sells that has a STRONG peppermint smell. We had one rat get in under our car by jumping on the tires to get access - spray your tires as well as the engine. That one rat arranged his own decapitation but in the process broke the serpentine belt. Not a cheap thing to replace.

Is it in the automotive section? I never heard of peppermint oil in a spray at Walmart......please advise.........thanks

I mechanic told me a couple of years ago when I had a rodent chew the wires to my ABS harness in the back of my Honda Civic..... mind you this was a lease vehicle so I was very upset. He informed me that in years past the wiring was wrapped with an oil based product which was environmentally hazardous. So the automotive industry switched from oil based to soy-based, and rodents of all kinds love it. I wrote a letter of complaint to the company feeling if this is the case they should find a better protective wrap to go Over these soy-based wires so they are not so vulnerable.

You may laugh but I found good results using the Raynox dcr-150 macro lens....From Amazon. From that you can crop it and bring it in even closer. If fits on a 52 mm to a sixty something mm lens, clip on. You might be surprised at the results. They also make a 250 which I have but I prefer the 150. It’s only $50. You don’t like it you send it back

My hope for a moonset at sunrise photo op was again thwarted when the full moon disappeared behind pink clouds well above the horizon line for the second month in a row. So I used my only shot from December to create these composites.

btw, one benefit to going out for a sunrise/moonset opportunity is then you are... out at sunrise

Please feel free to share your photos and ideas!

While I have upgraded my collection of digital SLR‘s, I still have one of my original cameras which was a Nikon D 50 that I purchased around 2006 refurbished. Six megapixels and takes outstanding pictures. I have thought recently trying to get a Nikon 7100 as it has in body focus motor like the D50. But so far I haven’t come up with one In my price range. The quality of your photo reflects that you don’t need always High megapixels!

Assuming that you were talking about a Canon printer, I replaced my IP 4000 with the I X 6520. I believe that’s the model. Outstanding prints 13 x 19. Of course the catch to all printers is the cost of the ink
