Check with local dealers. I found one that takes trades toward upgrades. I'm happy with the used gear I get from them.

My first is a Canon D60 which I still have for a backup if needed.
At the time I chose it there wasn't many to choose from and it seemed to be the best for what I wanted in a digital. Since then I have I'm heavily invested in lenses, so Canon is stuck with me.

I now shoot with a pair of 50D's.

This is one of those A or B questions, and you will get answers for both sides. So, here's mine. If a 200mm lens on a DX body is the equivalent of a 350mm lens, I would use 1/350, or the closest available.

Right on Buddy !!

I use the highest speed I can for the light available after choosing my aperture.

It depends on how far away from your subject you are.

Iv'e used a 17-40 f/4, a 24-105 f/4 IS, a 70-200 f/2.8 IS and even a 300 f/2.8 IS if I'm standing way back (about 5 miles).

But I think the important point is that the fact that the right must constantly make up pure BS about Obama in order to attempt to discredit him, just proves that they have no legitimate reason to complain about him.

We don't have to do anything to discredit him.
He does it for himself every time he opens his mouth or does something.

It goes deeper than that, Obama is a black Democrat president. No matter what he says or does, it's wrong! It must be, it has to be, because he's a Democrat! I know, personally, people who's lives have been changed by ACA and have purchased health insurance through The Affordable Care Act. People having health insurance isn't going to ruin the country.

Again !!

Who is going to pay for it ??

Again, the right wingers continue to whine about Obamacare, which is an effort to help all Americans have access to health care - and yet even after all these years to think about it - they have NOT come up with an alternative! When Romney did it in Massachusetts, even the Heritage Foundation thought it was a great idea, so apparently, even nut-jobs like Malkin only have a problem with it when it is offered up by a black president.

And - exactly WHAT aspect of "Obamacare" is so disturbing? No exclusion with pre-existing conditions? Your children being covered under your policy until the age of 26? The new provisions to protect against Medicare Fraud? Eliminating the Medicare Prescription donut-hole the Republicans left? The fact that more Americans now have health insurance than ever? If it is just the mandate that bothers you - then SAY that it is just the mandate, and then let's explore other funding options. Oh - that's right - you simply don't care if our fellow citizens lack health care. I forgot.
Again, the right wingers continue to whine about O... (show quote)

You're missing the bottom line !!

Who is going to pay for it ???

When it all started there were only 30 million uninsured people.
60 million was paid just for a website alone that didn't work.
Why not just hand the uninsured people 1 million each for their healthcare and be done with it. We would have been many trillion dollars ahead.

It will NEVER be seen in the main stream media?????

So conservative news outlets aren't considered......main stream?

The real news that we get isn't censored and filtered by the Obamanites.

And where are we now since the technology we learned to feed our need for speed ??

It has gotten us back to the electric car with a range of 40 miles between charges.

More evidence that "government efficiency" is an unattainable dream. If all their blundering malpractices do is cost us money, it's considered only a minor problem...they know where to get more money!

Oh, and if someone wants to point to the U.S. Postal Service as a shining example of government's business prowess...just DON'T.

One of the reasons, besides public safety, to keep government small is to keep the financial bleeding to a minimum.

There is something here I can hardly understand. Why if Obamacare is so good it is not compulsory for those in the government to have it?

They are the anointed ones who are too high up for what is good for the rest of us.

Hoot72, Hondo812, Jakebrake, I concur, well said. For me this is a personal affront. The whole mess. As a veteran I take this a bit differently. Those who have never had the PRIVILEGE to serve in the US military would not, could not, possibly understand. These men are not just bodies, THEY ARE MY BROTHERS, OUR BROTHERS!
They did not deserve the gutless antics of this POS CINC. Nor did their families or the American public deserve such abuse.
And if you think I'm pissed, and I am highly, You should talk to my friend who was on the rescue team that was stood down. There's PISSED!

I feel this is grounds enough to declare Obummer and friends unfit for service and remove them from our country.

Well, if its not "Unfounded Allegation" teddie. Got any more to sling my way? Ever come up with the evidence to back up your bullshit? I thought not.

Now to the point--If you do not understand why there is a mandate, then you have now idea of how insurance works or what actuaries do.

It must be a deep frustration that in spite of the lies and the bitterness of people like you, the Obamacare war is over.

Time to find a new hobby horse. Try Benghazi. Again.

If it was such a good deal, people would be flocking to get it and not have to be threatened.
If it is such a great deal, why haven't you gotten it ??
And in case you missed it, it is totally unConstitutional to be forced to get it. But I figure you know little about the Constitution and Bill of Rights anyway and don't even know what your legal rights are. This is why you are content to strip the rights from others just so you can feel good about your liberal, needy, entitled and empty life.

85% of all those incarcerated will be back on the street some day. They could move next door to you. Do you want someone who was given the help and opportunity to change for the better, or someone who was mistreated and bitter against society?
In today's culture, it is very possible that a friend or relative will end up in prison. How would you want them treated?
You want to sound tough, but to anyone that has worked in corrections, you just sound ignorant.

People who want help will find it.
You can't force it on someone who doesn't care.

You can change the subject again, but it doesn't change reality.
