Not at all. Just having a little fun after a few hours of yard work. Interrupted by one little thunderstorm after another. I'm ready for Fall. Less yard work, cooler temperatures, and college football. And the beaches are less crowded.

Don't expect this in any of your local theaters. It would upset too many sensitive liberal Dim-O-Craps.

This thread is proof of leftist dumbassery.

Isn't that an oxymoron? Is dumbassery even a word? Well it is now. I added it to my spellchecker dictionary.

Has everyone noticed that kd7ier makes a post, proves himself a complete idiot, and never responds when his stupidity is pointed out? There's a pattern there. Best to ignore the fool. I will in the future.

Problem is it's not just the Walmart stores.

Thanks for stopping by and taking a look Gary.

A lightening strike is a lightening strike. I'd rather avoid them. Having a 330 volt flash capacitor discharge through me is enough fun. It makes you forget about a measly 110 volt trigger capacitor.

Sorry about that.

You seem to constantly reword quotes. Is it just that you are too simple minded to come up with an original thought? It's OK. Most liberals are.

Google pictures of tomatoes rotting in the field due to no one available for picking, where are all the amurikans that complain illegals are taking “their” jobs away? More republican’t lies/propaganda, can’t find amurikans that want to work that hard.

That's because Dim-O-Crap liberals hand out taxpayer funded checks to low life bums that have figured out how to work the system. Cut off government assistance and they'll be happy to pick the damn tomatoes.

I asked her. She said to just get a squirrel. And, yes. Rattlesnake does indeed taste like chicken/rabbit/squirrel.

I'm on the way to the store for some thick ribeyes. You can have squirrels and rattlesnakes.

Don't change my wording. My comment was directed at kd. I guess it could also include you. Two clueless idiots.

If you go to: http://www.uglyhedgehog.com/t-534221-1.html
there is a reference to another URL with the build information for the trigger and a detailed theory of operation of the unit.

But briefly, the sensing element is a photodarlington transistor, the signal from there goes through a number of gain blocks, filters, peak hold circuit, and finally uses a relay as a contact closure to trip the camera shutter.

I'll dig a little deeper. I thought that the only solution was being extremely lucky or doing a still capture from a video. I could have captured some great shots in Colorado but I was busy trying to find shelter. Florida might be #1 in the number of strikes but they can't compete with the intensity of a Rockies thunderstorm that catches you above treeline.

If your wife needs a recipe, I can ask a friend. She made it once. Tastes like chicken.

Tastes more like rattlesnake. Which tastes like chicken. Does your friend have recipe for Spotted Owl?
