I've already watched some youtube videos and read a bunch of reviews on this lens but I was wondering if anyone here uses it and what their opinion is. I already have the 24-70 F2.8 L II but it's really getting heavy for me to carry around (damn I must be getting old) on some of my hikes (typically 8-11 miles). I also carry the 16-35 f/4 and in rare cases and on much shorter 4-5 mile walkabouts, sometimes the 70-200 f/4. Am I crazy or what????

Does anyone have any experience/opinion of the SanDisk Extreme Portable USB 3.1 (Gen 2) SSD? I'm thinking of I may only need the 500GB since I'll only be using it for photo storage when I'm traveling and possibly to back-up my old school 1T at home?

Thanks everyone, I just picked an external SSD for a second external drive to backup my photo's and I was going to try and install LR on it also, I do have LR installed on an older laptop that just runs sooo sloooow.

I'm not sure if this makes any sense and it may even be a stupid question, but, is it possible to download Lightroom on to an external hard drive and run it from there? I'd like to use an older laptop when I'm traveling and I'm curious if that would work?

One of the reasons that sometimes a "sarcasm" emoji is needed because I think some are meant to be sarcastic. That being said however, If I was offended or took every rude/snarky/negative comment personally I'd never be able to even go on a computer, let alone post something. To me they're just like water on a ducks back and I just scroll on by. There is way too much to be learned here and elsewhere to be bothered by the few keyboard warriors.

My .cr3 files load without any problems I did need to do the update on my creative cloud subscription. I must have somehow missed the notice to do it when it came out.
