I agree with rfarris1, it seems to be a male Downy rather than a Hairy Woodpecker. The Downy has a smaller beak than the Hairy and is slightly smaller.

My favorite is a Great Blue Heron, taken from a boat in Lay Lake (Alabama). Canon 5DSR, f5.6 @ 1/160 shutter speed, ISO = 100, 135mm.

I've purchased from the a couple of times and sold stuff to them. Have always gotten good service. Bought on lens that wouldn't hold focus and returned it. No problems, they refunded my money promptly. y problem is I have the lenses I really need, but they keep advertising and tempting my budget.

The Titmouse is difficult to photograph as they do not sit still and pose for you. Good shots.

Do the overhead lights have a mesh-type guard over the light bulb? I have seen these in sports venues, apparently as a protection against glass falling on the playing area. You could be picking up a faint shadow from them.

I'm having fun today with my 5DSR and Tamron 150-600 sitting in the woods, waiting for a big deer to come by. Have seen 2 does and a fawn so far. They all came within 15 feet of the tent I am in. They did not seem to detect me.

I am using a Canon 5Dsr and was considering the new Tamron 18-400mm as a "walk around" lens. Guess I will look elsewhere. Thanks for the responses.

How will a lens designed for APS-C crop sensor camera function if I attach it to a full-frame camera? What difference will it make? Thanks for helping an old man understand these technical concepts.

We have used VistaPrint several times with good results. The TopTen didn't consider them.

That will be a great trip. Took the same one a few years ago. Still wanting to go back. Better than Hawaii.
