Yes, those are all outside of the U.S. if that is what you are referencing.

If you are on Medicare and are traveling abroad, it is imperative that you purchase travel insurance since Medicare will not cover you outside of the U.S. There are a couple of exceptions.

In a previous post, I had mentioned that I purchased the Panasonic Lumix ZS100 and highly recommend it as a travel camera. In addition to its exceptional image quality, it has the advantage of being able to be charged with a standard USB connection. No need to take an additional charger. How handy is that?

I highly recommend the Panasonic Lumix ZS100 as a great travel camera. I purchased one for the very same reasons that you stated. There is also the newer ZS200 which has a longer zoom range.

I would like to see the shadows opened up a bit so that I can see some detail. Otherwise, nice images.

I recently went through the same exercise and settled on the Pansonic Lumix LS-100. Takes amazingly sharp photos. Has a great zoom range for a compact.

I'm not sure what it is that you want from me. There are no guarantees in life. If you want the camera bad enough, buy it. If you think that he might sell it out from under you, buy it. Otherwise, just walk away from it and don't look back.

Oh, right, RC ... so you get a dealer to give you a serial number ... and whilst you're making your inquisition, he up and sells to someone else ... right!

Smart move!

I agree with DeanS. Ask the buyer to make an offer. The general rule in negotiating is, "The first person to put an offer on the table loses." Not that there would be a loser in this case but the point is that the first person to throw out a number is at a disadvantage because he has shown his cards, so to speak.

Consider having the artist make an offer - then negotiate. You might be surprised, especially if he/she is an honorable individual.

It does make sense if your intention is to ask if a repair has been performed on a particular serial number.

Well, perhaps, after buying one ... but, talking to them prior to purchase makes little to no sense ....

I would call them and talk to them but what they told me is that they would evaluate it and either clean the sensor or replace the shutter. My brother bought a used D600, it developed the problem, Nikon replaced the shutter. Mine is going in Friday. But you would be smart to have your own discussion with Nikon.

Do you mean, RC ... one can go ahead and buy a D600 used, and then, immediately, turn around and send it to Nikon for a free shutter replacement?

Does it really matter if Nikon is willing to replace the shutter?

And how likely is one to find a used D600 with a certificate stipulating the shutter has been replaced, Kuzano?

You can call Nikon and they will tell you if the camera's shutter has been replaced. You need to provide them the serial number. Now, here is a curious thing. Nikon told me that they often use the same serial number on more than one camera. They may use the same number on a body only sale and the same number on a kitted sale. I have no idea why. In the case of my D600 there were two cameras with my same serial number. One had the shutter replaced and the other did not. I'm of the belief that my camera did not have the shutter replaced since I'm seeing spots in the upper left corner. Nikon has told me that they will replace the shutter if the spots are related to the oil problem. It's going to Nikon this coming Friday.

Nice scene. I think I would remove the power lines though.

This is my understanding as well. Thanks for verifying what I believed to be true.

There is no "cloud" only version of Adobe apps. All Adobe creative apps install a front end on your local system and use the cloud for verification and to provide optional storage of your work. There was, in 2014, a "Streaming Photoshop" being beta tested to the Educational market only, but I could not find any indication that it progressed beyond beta stage. This notice appears on the web page:

Thank you for your interest. At this time, applications for the Project Photoshop Streaming beta program are not being accepted.

Ands, on the FAQ page, Adobe requires a Creative Cloud account in order to participate in the Project Photoshop streaming beta.
