Not the best quality, but I thought it was an interesting juxtaposition.

Thanks for your responses. Aflama is the oldest neighborhood in Lisbon. It is very narrow and winding. Reminded me a bit of Italy in parts.

Great set. I live near there and have yet to visit. You have inspired me!

Love the set. I, too, am partial to the B&W shots. I think you have really captured the feel of London, not just the image. It is one of my favorite cities to photograph. Lovely job!

I Googled Sintra, what a stunning place. I'll stick that on my to visit list! Nice shot Elcon!

I highly recommend Portugal! I based in Lisbon and Sintra is a quick train ride away. I can't wait to go back.

Good shot, I guess they didn't like company.

Thanks! The castle itself is quite beautiful, but the roads leading up to it are treacherous. Even in the castle itself, everything is uphill. It's a workout for sure.

Very unusual, is it in stone or a wood carving?
Well taken.
Thank you! It is stone. There are several along this particular walk way

Really great set! I will be in Scotland end of November. Hoping I will get a day or two without rain to shoot.

Perhaps you used a tele for this shot and although I was not there something seems to tell me that you could have done better with a wide angle. It would have shown more of that part of the city where the tram was which happens to compliment the main subject.

I used my Panasonic Lumix as I prefer not to travel with my dslr and lenses. I agree that a wide angle may have yielded a better shot, however, this particular area was under some construction and the surrounding area was not exactly attractive.

Can you tell us something about the subject?

This is a shot of the coastline. It is just north of Cascais, Portugal. This portion of the coast is very rocky. I would imagine swimming is impossible. Calais is about 45 minutes from Lisbon via rail.
