I have not posted any photos for quite a while. Thought it was about time to post some of the stuff from the last few weeks, including basketball, baseball, softball, tennis, track and golf. Just a small sampling of each. The osprey is thrown in just for fun as they nest adjacent to the baseball field and fly across the field during games.

These are real nice photos btbg!! Not posting for a while, looking at these you definitely need to post a lot more sport photos. Thanks and BE SAFE!!

Does anyone have a recommendation of whicj AI software works best?
Oliver

I have used Topaz Photo AI for 5-6 months and I really love how good it works. I am a sport photographer for MaxPreps.com. It has saved SO MANY photos for My Max galleries. They are very strict on what they will accept for putting online. I think they have a free trial offer. See what you think. Thanks BE SAFE!!

This jewel is a 1931 Cadillac 370 Fleetwood Roadster.

In 1930, Cadillac launched its V-12 and V-16 engines, which caused the other premium brands to follow suit. A mini-war developed between them. The 1931 Fleetwood Roadster shown here had the V-12. Its 368 C.I. engine put out 135 HP. The Roadster was a very limited production model, only 85 of these cars were made.

The car here had just undergone an extensive restoration. During that process, a few factory options it had not had were added. They included the Wind Wings, the Pilot Ray lights, and the Low Boy Trunk.

Getting back into photographing arena football. I had forgotten how much I both enjoy the game and like to photograph it. From on field interactions with players and coaches, it is just plain fun!!

Shot with a Z9 paired with the Tamron 35-150 f2-f2.8. 1/1000, f3.5 with ISO 3200-5000.
First two games I carried both a 24-70 f2.8 and a 70-200 f2.8.

The 35-150 made it much easier to move around the stadium!

Rick you did it again, these are awesome shots. Maybe a little dark for me but that is me. Please post more I love it. Thanks BE SAFE!!

Sorry for the delay on being on here but been super busy shooting softball and baseball.
These shots were taken with a Nikon D4 paired with my trusty 200-500 5.6 lens.
1/3200 at 5.6 to 6.3
Auto white balance
Auto iso (usually around 500-1000)
Nice sunny day with no clouds.

Nice day out, no wind about 75 degrees.
Nikon D4 paired with a 200-500 5.6.
A few shots taken with a D500 paired with a 80-400 but still I am not happy with the focus at 400mm, so I don't use it much. The lens is perfect on the D4. Go figure.
1/4000 at 6.3

WOW!! My friend it doesn't get much better than these. But coming from you it is to be expected. These are awesome. Keep it up, Headed to Max to see the rest. Thanks BE SAFE!!

Prior to the advent of the Ferrari period, Alfa Romeo considered itself to be the de facto Italian National Racing Team. First released for a world wide showing at the Paris show, it was the most mechanically advanced racing car of its time. The 8 cylinder, twin-cam, supercharged engine was a marvel of engineering.

The car was raced in Europe until 1940 when it was sold to an American and brought over the th U,S. It sold again in 1991 to another American. In 2003, it underwent an exhaustive ( and very expensive ) restoration.

The car sold for $9500 in 1932. The value of this car today is pegged at $9,500,000 to $10,000,000.

In the early 1700's, the Tuscarora indian tribe staged raids against white settlers in parts of North Carolina. This old cabin was in one of those areas and it was in use at that time.

I had seen this place many times from the road that runs by the property. It's a large tract of land and the cabin sits way back from the road. There are signs every where prohibiting entry onto the property. 2 years ago, through the efforts of a friend of a friend, I was granted permission to go on the property and take pictures. The person who set it up for me is the land owners' nephew and he accompanied me while I was there. We were also joined by the land owner, an 80 year old lady who was as gracious as she could be. It was her great, great grandfather that built the cabin.

Through the years, the cabin was rebuilt many times. In fact, the stone chimney is the only feature remaining of the original construction, The lady and her sister were born in this cabin that existed at the time. When they were small children, the family moved into a more modern home. The cabin was allowed to deteriorate to the condition you see here.

Indoor football game 2 under my belt. I'm finding the biggest challenge is learning my way around the arena! Most shot at Nikon Z9, 70-200 f2.8 Z, 1/1000, ISO 4000, f3.5, but individual details may be viewed in the photo captions. Even broke out the backup Z6 for the "in close" shots. Fun getting out to photograph this sport again!

Some awesome photos Rick. You did well as usual. The indoor game is a little different. Thanks BE SAFE!!

The Way Of The Cross Leads Home, by Jessie Brown Pounds 1906

I must needs go home by the way of the cross,
There’s no other way but this;
I shall ne’er get sight of the Gates of Light,
If the way of the cross I miss.

Refrain:
The way of the cross leads home,
The way of the cross leads home;
It is sweet to know, as I onward go,
The way of the cross leads home.

I must needs go on in the blood-sprinkled way,
The path that the Savior trod,
If I ever climb to the heights sublime,
Where the soul is at home with God.

Then I bid farewell to the way of the world,
To walk in it nevermore;
For my Lord says, “Come,” and I seek my home,
Where He waits at the open door.
The Way Of The Cross Leads Home, by Jessie Brown P... (show quote)

You the MAN!! Yes on this day as Jesus arose from the dead to give us forever life with GOD. He does wait at the open door for us to enter. Praise GOD and let all BE SAFE!!
