And I think you are wrong. But, honestly, I don't care what you think so its a mute point.

Hey, Penny, some might take 85th "graduated" as a success.

In the longterm, class standing has little to do with success in life. People can get high marks in some courses by simply regurgitating information on exams, but they do not know how to think their way through a parallel problem case.

And you just described Joe Biden perfectly!

Actually, Fauci cowered at everything Trump did.

The mainstream media reported for months and Fauci agreed that Trump followed every suggestion from Fauci. Then later Trump figured out that Fauci wasn't exactly on top of things, but none the less Trump listened to that idiot and the left started lambasting him THEN the media fell instep with the democrats. If Trump had not shut down the borders when he did, things would most likely have been a lot worse. But that's another story of another thread and another day.

I guess you'd be wrong with that snarky comment. The left are the new Nazi's. Promise you everything, take your guns, squelch free speech, etc.... Yep, the left are the Nazi's.

Very few jobs actually require a degree.
Teachers know going in that teaching pays crap.
Colleges arbitrarily raise tuition knowing there is easy money.
States know the same so spend money on welfare programs and let the feds give out easy money.
If I were applying for a loan for a house with crap credit and no way to repay I would be denied. Yet teenagers are given up to hundreds of thousands unsecured for worthless degrees. Sounds like all are looking to screw real working Americans for a 4 year party and exotic summer travels.

What happened is that state governments stopped supporting state schools like they used to. People were talked into loans they couldn't afford to pay back because the jobs they could get after graduating didn't pay enough to pay off the loans. Financial crises set a lot of people back, but while payments could be deferred, interest accrual was not and a lot of people wound up owing two times or more what they borrowed. And it is practically impossible to get out from under the debt through bankruptcy.

Obviously, you have no sympathy for the younger generation getting screwed over.

I do think that the income limits on this are too high, and the payoff amount is too low. But I also think something needs to be done to fix this, because there are a lot of people that are underwater and sinking rather than swimming.

I don't have any sympathy for the younger generation. They too, like us, need to LEARN how to deal with finances and life in general. Handing them everything on a silver platter just makes them lazy and unambitious. To truly appreciate what one has, they must work for it.

I have read Judge Cannon’s rational for making Trump “special; and I have read many other legal opinions who all say she is blatantly wrong. The Special Master might be a terrible mistake for Trump. Dearie has requested that Trump testify under oath that he de-classified documents. If he said he did, that will fly in the face of all the Trump insiders that knew of no outstanding directive. If he said he did not de-classify the documents, that will expose him as a liar to the public, and put him in an even deeper legal hole. Further, one of his top attorneys, Eric Hershmann, has testified that he warned Trump about absconding with the documents. Trump ignored the advice, and as we all know, he did it anyway. That will go to show intent and obstruction.

Surely you remember that Trump has many attorneys. Though one may have said one thing, the other may have said something else. You seem to hang on to any thread, even coming from Trump's camp, IF they say one thing that fits your narrative. It's getting quite pathetic.

Hey, if the left is going to keep putting in lame brain people that can't even tell us what a woman is, then it is better the left NOT appoint any more idiots.

Five core truths about the Russia scandal.

Russia attacked the American elections in 2016

Every U.S. intelligence agency and lawmakers from both parties have long agreed that the Kremlin launched an expansive and expensive covert military intelligence operation that targeted the U.S. political system in 2016. This basic fact is no longer contested — except by Trump, who publicly declared that he found Vladimir Putin more reliable than his own administration’s officials — and its importance is too often overlooked.

Russia’s goal was to put Trump in power

The Kremlin’s operation was not politically neutral: Moscow attacked our elections in the hopes of helping dictate the outcome. According to the findings of U.S. intelligence agencies, the Mueller investigation, and the multi-step investigation from the GOP-led Senate Intelligence Committee, Russia saw Trump as a prospective ally and believed it would be in its interests if the Republican were in the White House.

Russia and Team Trump were political allies

As regular readers know, investigations from Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s team and the GOP-led Senate Intelligence Committee documented the extent to which Trump and his team welcomed, received, and benefited from Russian campaign assistance. (They also obstructed the investigation into this assistance — by some measures, 10 times.)
The evidence also showed there was coordination and high-level connections between Trump’s political operation and those responsible for the attack on our elections. The Senate Intelligence Committee’s report at one point literally described a “direct tie between senior Trump Campaign officials and the Russian intelligence services.”

Team Trump lied about its communications with Russia

No, really, Team Trump lied about its communications with Russia. A lot. Out loud and on record. Over and over again, Trump and his spokespersons insisted there were absolutely no interactions between the Republican, his political operation, and their Russian benefactors. We now know definitively that they were lying — though they still haven’t been forthcoming about why.

The Russia scandal led to a series of felony convictions and prison sentences

For an alleged “hoax,” the Russia scandal led to an amazing number of federal prosecutions. In fact, the investigation — the one Lowry derided as “a national fiasco” — led to the convictions of, among others, Trump’s White House national security advisor, campaign chairman, deputy campaign chairman, foreign policy advisor, personal lawyer, and 13 Russian nationals who interfered in our elections as part of the larger plot.

But these five aforementioned truths are largely uncontested, and have been bolstered, not only by U.S. intelligence agencies, but also by the Mueller probe and the GOP-led Senate Intelligence Committee’s findings. Russia attacked our elections to help Trump. The Republican’s political operation welcomed, received, benefited from, and lied about Russian campaign assistance. Many key players from Trump’s inner circle were charged, prosecuted, and convicted.

These aren’t opinions. They’re conclusions drawn from multiple, “bipartisan investigations, conducted across several years.”

The only “hoax” here is the one being perpetrated by those pretending the Russia scandal wasn’t real.

"Russia's goal was to put Trump in power" - THAT IS THE BIGGEST LAUGH ever. I'm sure Russia would rather have Fat Hillary in office. After all, Hillary did take donations from the Russians so she was somewhat partial to them.
