I'm not shopping for a saw, but I noticed something when I was browsing on Amazon. I've had a variety of circular saws over the years, and they all had the handle on the left and the blade on the right. I noticed in browsing that many saws have the opposite configuration, with the handle on the right and the blade on the left. These aren't advertised as being for left-handle people, so what's the story?

Yes, I am one of those old guys who used to shoot a lot of transparency film, sold a few magazine covers (not Nat Geo!) but abandoned it all when it became apparent that digital was going to be the survivor. Putting what you wanted on a slide film, which could be tricky and unforgiving, was (and is) an art-form in itself, and I was unprepared to learn the language of photoshop and image stabilization. "f/8-and-be-there" was easy to understand.
Having somewhat relented now and bought an entry-level Nikon and 2 lenses that will hopefully give my grandchildren some remembrances, who knows - I might even find out what some of those other buttons actually do.

Was at the Hosp with my Uncle and got a call. I was going to ignore it but decided to answer.

Peace Camera in NC was there and Brian asked if I was still interested in the Tamron 150-600mm. I choked and answered ' Yeeeees.'
