There is a bookmaker module in Lightroom. Without clicking on the Send link, it looks like http://www.blurb.com

I recently used Lightroom's Book module and Blurb to make a book of my granddaughter's first year. I took two images from each month, one serious pic, and one comical. They did a really good job and the price was very reasonable. They often have 40% off specials right on the website. Laying out the book in LR was quite easy.

There are sections for underwater, macro and close-up, street photography, and a host of others, but none for film? Considering that most of started with, and in many cases, still shoot film, you'd think there would be a section for it.

Are you submitting prints? DPI refers to Dots Per Inch print resolution. 300 is pretty standard DPI for 8.5x11".

You can go to Settings>Update>Update History and uninstall the latest update. that would put you back where you were before the update.

My Pentax SLR ( film) bit the dust. I saw the K100D used on sale. I know that I can use the 3 manual lens I have, on it The camera only has 6 megapixels. Does anyone have any feedback on it? Thank you for your help

Just curious, when you say that your K1000 died, it makes me think that you were still using it. Why not get another one? you can find them all day long on ebay for less than $100.
I have one (along with 3 Nikon SLRs) that I still enjoy shooting with.

Very cool! I've had my eye out for one at a reasonable price for some time now.

Jim, I am with you 100 percent. Miss the good old days without sensors.

My current favorite camera is my new (to me) Nikon F with the photomic prism head. I have that, and an old Nikkormat FT2 currwnrly loaded with tri-x, and lately I've been shooting more film than digital. I've always shot full manual because I like having full control of the output. But if I screw up, I can't blame the camera.

Non concur. Explore the use of the brush tool in LR - it is different from the clone stamp, but lines - particularly straight lines - are very easily and quickly removed. Curved and irregular lines take a little more time and care, but that is true in PS as well.

Sure, it can be done, but I personally find that it's quicker, easier, and more precise with the tools available in PS.

...If one wants a logical place to start looking at the differences, try experimenting with removing unwanted objects like power lines, trees or tourists. Another is background control.

I used to be a fanatic about removing power lines, and doing it in LR, well, just don't. PS is the tool for that job. Nowadays, if I can't shoot around them, I leave them in.

Agree, but from what I've read some prefer to work within a single package and believe that using ACR in PS is no different than using Lightroom.

While Lightroom and ACR share the same engine, I much prefer Lightroom's interface.

Thank you. This is timely for me. I just picked up two computers and want to play with them. The computer I have on my desk now is a Windows 7 computer, and I may also want to see if I can upgrade it to 64 bit Windows 10.

I downloaded Affinity Photo Trial for Windows yesterday (10 day free trial) and Affinity Photo doesn't run on 32 bit Windows 7, so some playing around there is in order.

I've been on Windows 10 since the beginning of the "Insider" progam, and done about 25 computers so far. Very little problem on all that. Had one machine that had an illegal Windows 7 Key... but that's about it. No software or equipment otherwise that did not work.

25 years on computer teching and consulting.... Best Windows Ever... 10 that is.

I agree, great advice. Like you, I've been an insider from the start and I've lost trackof the number of builds I've installed. I keep a flash drive with the ISO file and also a clone of my C:\ drive with a known good Windows install.
