Maybe not all porch thieves are out looking for opportunity, sometimes they might drive the truck.
This is good to know. With 240,000 drivers and dock workers stealing packages, it's surprising that any of their daily 16 million packages are delivered.
Next time I order from B&H, I'll drive 2900 miles to pick up the package in person.

Going to Oregon tomorrow, (from Rochester, NY). I'll try a few shots of the sun out there and see if there is any difference.
We have the same sun as the rest of the planet, so I wouldn't expect anything different.

That leaves it pretty open to speculation. Are these items bigger than a breadbox?
At least this is not a big brown truck post. Enjoy, but your questions should have been asked before buying.

Yeah, yeah, I've seen these for years but all they show is that hotdogs are saved from amputation. I'm still waiting for one of theiir people to demonstrate with a real finger.
Now how does is this really about PHOTOGRAPHY?
From a carpenter with all my fingers.

When we were at Devil’s Tower the next day, i had fog and rain like yours--couldn’t even see the top for a while.
Been there, done that. I took a hundred mile detour to see the Golden Gate bridge and all we saw was fog.

Is there any way to see if a thread has been moved from another section? Some people do complain about a post being not photographically related when it was originally in Chit Chat.
No way to tell if it's been moved. Member Rongnongno does a screen shot of posts before they're moved to show where they originated. I guess I should have done that.

I'm amazed that longtime members like you are blissfully ignorant of the fact that Admin frequently moves posts to a different forum section.
This thread was posted yesterday to the Photo Gallery section and has since been moved to Chit-chat.
There have been previous discussions about how to photograph art which is totally fine.
Ruth posted to Photo Gallery asking for critique of her paintings, which is not OK.

I would like a critique of this painting painted March 2018. I recently retired from my job In 2014 and I took up art as a hobby. I would like to add more of my landscapes.
Welcome to UHH, Ruth, but did you notice this a PHOTOGRAPHY forum?

Yes indeed! It is the RX10III! At my age I remember pictures better than cameras! Thanks for the kind and gentle reminder.
Not a problem. I never liked the way they named them. Or the Canon printers, Pro-100, Pro-10, Prograf-1000.
