Beautiful shots, they're such pretty Birds.

Tom, I've looked at quite a few of your photos which are posted in the Gallery section and must say that they are always so colorful and well composed. You do good work !
Thank you so much, that is very kind of you. I've also seen some of yours also and really love them. As a 'Photographer', and i use that term loosely lol. i try to see the beauty in everyday things that perhaps most people may not. But then, that's what Photography is all about and why it's so rewarding. Keep up your good work and keep capturing "The Moment" because once it's gone,,,,,,,,,,,it's gone.

I'll have to say number 19 would be my choice. The right year model, classic lines, beautiful profile, looks very well cared for with no damage or abuse, great color combination and most certainly would be an awesome ride.
Ohhhhh, be mighty careful about asking that question I did the same thing once and got "The Third Degree" from a member. I was virtually told that i should not waste other peoples time by asking that question, that i should get a book on Birds and find out for myself. Of course I'm sure he was PERFECT in everything he does, well except for one thing,,,,,,,,,,,,,being a Human Being.

I usually go through the "critic" section everyday to read and get hint posted about what makes a better image. There are some very god critics ,even though it seems a few have stopped critiquing.
My question is why would you post (in the critic section) if all your looking for is backslapping . Why come back with nasty remarks? If all you want is gushy replies post in the photo section. JMHO
I often wonder the same thing. Why,,,,,,,,,when you know you have a good shot, would you do that??? Just go ahead and post it in the Photo section and don't 'FISH' for compliments These people really get on my nerves!
Very Artistic, i love it.

Two glass birds with dichroic swirl in them, I'm also the glassblower.
Absolutely adorable, I'd love to have some of those. Make me a couple and I'll gladly buy them.

I have an opportunity to pick up a Sigma 150-500 Lens for my D800. Although I'd plan to use it for BIF, the reality is its mostly a bad case of GAS. I was initially looking at the Sigma 150-600, I know someone selling the 150-500 for $400.00.
Is it worth it? Advice from anyone that might have this lens would be appreciated.
Thanks
No Brainer, had it, loved it! got the 150-600 c now and also love it.
I decided to buy an external hard drive and simply transferred all of them to it.
Great job, nothing compares to creativity.
