You should be able to select a custom size from a paper size list in the print setup screen. Also be sure to read the printer manual and see what the maximum size it is capable of printing

My dad always said the only place you get free cheese is in a mousetrap. Be very careful when you download a "free" application and read every screen carefully otherwise you will end up with not free text messages, a ton of email and at least 5 new tool bars on IE

Regardelss of any of the above, be sure to take pcis for HDR using Apature priority so that the depth of field does not vary from image to image

If you have photo editing software you can change the (increase) resolution before printing or sending to an online print place. Or if you have or are willing to buy Topaz filters you can "dejpeg" your images.

PS There are plenty of reasonable filters available for either of the Fuji cameras I mentioned. You can get a set of three filters including UV, Circular Polorized and Florescent for under $20, also there are IR remotes for about the same amount.

I think time is a good measure of an image. And lets call all photos images that takes the judgemental terms out of the picture. I take a lot of images while traveling. About once a month I look back at my images and delete those that don't stand the test of time. Any image that survives three looks I keep. Great images retain their appeal over a long period of time

Don't forgtet about the FhjiFilm HS20Exr of the S100FS. The HS20 is a 30 optical zoom and the S100fs is a 14x optical zoom. I own both and love them. See my photo stream on Flicker screen name 2 Dog Don all were taken wit one or the other. They are called a bridge camera that is they form a bridge between ONS and DSLR. They are great learning tools amd cost less than $400

Beutiful, I live on the opposite coast and we have some wild ponies on Assateague island. I have posted a few pictures of them

I also got lost when moving from film to digital. An approach that I used was to identify a photo task that I wanted to do such as depth of field, then learned to do that with the digital camera, then picked another task and learned how to do that.
That way I leared how to to what I wanted to do rather than what the camera book said the camera could do. I hate the way camera and most other "user manuals" are written. They take the approach "you can do this or you can do that" rather than the approach, to do X perform the following steps in the order indicated. They keep adding buttons for people that want one button approach rather than learning photography basics.

One more thing to consider it to make sure that when taking pics for HDR is to use apature priority so that the depth of field is the same in each of the bracketed images

Another thing to think about is terminology. Adobe likes to use obscure terms for things. It is hard to use the Adobe help system if you don't know what terms to use in search. Those "for dummys" books are a good value. Think basic rather than dummy. Once you learn the correct term learning gets easier. Hope this helps

You might also want to go to Adobe Television. There are a lot of good videos there. I have PSE 9 and can't think of anything that is does not do.
