Very nicely done. I particularly like the detail on the lizard.

You already know I love it and it is lovely to see it again. Thankyou.
Thanks Georgie. I spent three years in England (Cheltenham, in the lovely Cotswolds) many years ago....in the mid 1960s.
Not sure if ok to repost something here, which was originally posted in the photo gallery, but I did receive a suggestion to do so. Moderator: if not OK, please delete.
This bobcat was lying between my bird feeder and birdbath when I got up a couple days ago.
Taken on a cloudy day, not much past dawn, so I had to really boost the ISO. Very noisy in the dark background that I cropped out. Picture was taken through the window.
Distance about 25 feet; Lens: Tamron EF 70-300mm, at 240mm
Camera Canon 60D; ISO 3200, 1/250, 5.6
Thanks to everyone for their comments on the Bobcat picture.
I am very much the amateur, and have only been brave enough to post few more than a handful of photos here. Most have been for the subject matter, not for photographic merit.

Walking White Rock Beach I was fortunate to get beautiful lighting underneath the pier.
Hopefully this works as I have been trying for several days to post pics. Hitting send not preview...has anyone else had this problem
Very nicely done. Quite unusual. Love the lines and repeating patterns.

This is my first Woodpecker of any kind :)
Very nice picture. I love woodpeckers...unless they are packing at my aluminum roof gutters.
I just acquired a bird bath a couple of days ago. I got up this morning and found this bobcat lying in wait on the ground between the bird feeder and the bird bath. Probably expecting a buffet. (Taken right after dawn...ISO on automatic and very high)

I took the pictures at The Dartmoor Zoological Park
Very nicely done. I looked, expecting to see a standard 'flamingos standing in the water' shot. It is refreshing to see a different perspectives....which I may incorporate the next time I am someplace that has flamingos.

It was a beautiful sunny morning today so I decided to take a drive out to Presque Isle State Park. While there I took a walk down the Graveyard Pond Trail. It is called Graveyard Pond because that is where Commodore Oliver Hazard Perry would bury the crew men of the Flagship Niagara who had died or were dying of smallpox in the War of 1812. There is a legend that it is haunted, but I didn't see any ghosts (whew).
Anyway, I was trying out my new camera and tripod and will share some of my photos. I had a few visitors along the way. The only PP was some cropping, straightening and a few color adjustments. Critiques and comments welcome :D

Very wel done. A worthwhile morning out.

Love it Louie! Good job!
Thanks. I am still pretty insecure about posting in this forum. This is probably only the 4th or 5th time I have done so.
Funny. Thanks for the laugh.
Full-Framer...I agree. I normally shoot with much narrower depth of field, and regret not doing so on this bright, sunny day. Unfortunately all of my other shots, on that day, have similar 'clarity of background'. It was my first day at this location and I wanted to be sure my whole subject was in focus, and I overcompensated. Thanks for the comment.
