It was a beautiful sunny morning today so I decided to take a drive out to Presque Isle State Park. While there I took a walk down the Graveyard Pond Trail. It is called Graveyard Pond because that is where Commodore Oliver Hazard Perry would bury the crew men of the Flagship Niagara who had died or were dying of smallpox in the War of 1812. There is a legend that it is haunted, but I didn't see any ghosts (whew).
Anyway, I was trying out my new camera and tripod and will share some of my photos. I had a few visitors along the way. The only PP was some cropping, straightening and a few color adjustments. Critiques and comments welcome :D
Graveyard Pond Trail
I thought that the branch looked like little animals in the water
I thought this tree was very odd
My 1st visitor. He only let me get a few photos before scampering off
My 2nd visitor. He actually posed for several pictures.
Showing me his cottontail
My 3rd visitor. I was so excited when I came around a bend and saw these two deer
My 4th visitor...I couldn't believe that they just stood there looking at me and let me take their picture.
Erie, Pa... as seen from Presque Isle
i came upon some Canada geese while leaving the park
Goose in the road...taken from my car

Very wel done. A worthwhile morning out.
The Bunny in Pic #4 looks like it has a tail like a rat. Actually a stick, but it looks like a tail.
