See, where there is a will, there is a way!

I will "assume" it didn't get its head stuck.

Nope -- came back for more until it had its fill. Very annoying for the smaller birds, since it made clear that it preferred to eat alone. They watched from nearby branches until they finally could return.

This young red bellied woodpecker was not about to let a feeder designed for smaller birds keep him from reaching the seed. It pressed its head into the cage as far as it could, then let its incredible tongue do the rest.

Like others, I have been largely confined to the yard and neighborhood walks. The recent ice storm gave our dogwood tree and nandina bush a nice coating. Because a freezing rain was still falling, I used a TG-5 for these shots.

We've had a Cooper's hawk visit our backyard on numerous occasions, and usually all the birds and critters scatter in time. A couple days ago, though, a young squirrel did not get the email. He froze on the tree trunk just below the hawk for a tense five minutes, but was saved when two crows started to harass the hawk, which then flew away.

These guys are good, and have posted lots of YouTube videos of themselves in airports, shopping malls, etc. They dress up as various characters and then pretend to casually walk up to a public piano, act like they've never been there before, and then pound out great boogie or other tunes.

They've dressed up as UPS delivery guys, airport construction workers, and my favorite, as two airport police officers who continue on "foot patrol" after playing. Here's one of them as "pilots" at Heathrow:

You might try PhotoScape X. It's free, easy to use, and works well with my TG-5. I don't know if it works with Helicon Focus -- never tried it. There are YouTube tutorials, and this review by Tony Northrop is a useful overview.

Very nice image! Just a couple suggestions:
- It seems a little too warm, leaving the sky slightly too red and making the background stand out a little too much for my taste. A white balance adjustment could fix both. (Assuming my monitor's settings are similar to yours or the printer's.)
- Agree with burkphoto that the blown-out white on the eagle's head needs to be corrected, especially if the photo is to be enlarged as you indicated.

If you google "camera sensor cleaning," you'll find quite a few tutorials on YouTube. I suggest watching several before deciding which technique/kit is best for you. Be sure you have tried the other methods first: rocket blower and the camera's vibration cleaner. If your camera has IBIS, you'll need to read the manual for how to lock the sensor in place before swabbing. Good luck.

Here's a primer from Adorama: https://www.adorama.com/alc/the-secret-of-effectively-and-safely-cleaning-your-digital-camera-sensor-yourself/

Careful use of a healing tool should do it -- with emphasis on "careful." I like the orange coloration!

Can work well for hand-held macros, but you have to watch for reflections of the light ring.

When I bought my A6000, it came with a Sony 18-55 that was softer than a princess’s pillow. I’m a nut about sharpness, so I checked around and bought a Zeiss 16-70. The lens cost more, a lot more, than the camera; but it’s tack sharp. The Sony is my travel camera—I shoot with a Nikon at home—and I want my memories to be clear. As I said, Zeiss rhymes with “price,” but it’s worth it. BTW, this lens lives on my camera 99% of the time.

Good luck with your search.

I also use the 16-70 as my walk-around lens. A bit pricey, but its small size and low weight are a perfect balance
on the a6000 -- it's especially good for travel. While early on there were problems with some 16-70s, current copies seem to have better quality control. Mine is tack sharp, has very solid construction, and is a pleasure to use.

I also carry two primes (12mm and 35mm) for super wide angle and low-light shots, and a 55-210 zoom for telephoto (some 55-210 lenses apparently also had quality control issues, but mine is sharp and seen lots of use).
