Ok, these are fast and poorly done shots but I got what I got while I could, did not expect to do this but hey.
Look, places like this are Gods blessing because people have loving hearts as I seem to have.
Oh yea they have a damn Lama too. Peacocks roaming around in the open but this is area where they can.
It was funny because when I was shooting the Egret, one of the Pelicans kept nipping at my shorts, yes Its Texas, shorts and dandles,

It was funny because when I was shooting the Egret, one of the Pelicans kept nipping at my shorts, yes Its Texas, shorts and dandles, I had put a shirt on for decency. But they told me the birds never know who has a fish for them and I did not have one so that's Ok. I made it home a few minutes before my scheduled web video and was so glad to have this little baby in good hands.
There are others in the area I guess and I am now inspired to seek them out see what I can share.
Bruce.
With so many posts I hesitated doing this. But to share a gift is good. So, last night one of my charity case cats brought in a baby bird. I was in bed and heard her meowing in a strange way and outside my bedroom door she had brought in a baby house finch bird. BUT it was not injured, a fledgling, so I made a nest and placed it next to my bed. This morning the baby would not eat. I started calling around and was refereed to the Rogers Wildlife Center in Hutchins Texas just south of Dallas which is about a 50 mile round trip for me so I took this little baby there. And it is doing good and will survive and be back in nature as it should be.
Now, I was very pressed for time BUT I had my Panasonic Lumix FZ300 with me still in spot mode from the eclipse event but went in and got some shots. They are not good. It was early and clouds had not cleared out yet so some in the cages I used the flash. Again, was not expecting to do this but quickly gor some so I wanted to share.
Now, MY main point is that I was so very moved that there are these places that care for the lovely birds and animals and I was not able to help this baby as it needed but they do. So, here is a few of the baby done with my cell phone and the others are poorly done while quickly going through the center.

Nice images. Here in Texas we have them most of the year and they are not weeds but beneficial plants. Very edible, I love the flowers, yes I eat them and they are tasty. The leaves are very good too and the root is also good. It has been used for ??? just look it up for check out health food store , you will find Dandelion extracts and powders. They are everywhere here, hummm, making me hungry for some.

Another from that PlusX Archve. Quite a bunch of "stream" images have been posted but probably not this one.
Well Jim, if an image has previously been posted, then feel free to post again. We do enjoy your time and effort going into these posts.

Very lovely images. I love this topic section even though I rarely ever comment anymore.

Excellent Jim, given that it might have been from 1978 and she looks to be 18 or 19, she could be 64 or 65 now. Makes a person wonder how good she looks now, if only there existed a current picture. Thank You.
I agree I have always thought the same about all the girls he photographed. It would be nice to see what they would look like today.

Yes, a good idea but so much headroom! I like it but dpullum's advice would make it stronger, I think.
Rabbi, sabbaths blessings to you and your congregation and family.
Ok, dpullun's opinion misses the point of the image, as usual many times he is just being stupid.
The image shows us the entire scene as the photographer wanted to show. To me it is easy for us to sit back on our nit picky chairs and comment on stuff not really helping anything.
I like photography that shows the scene as the shooter sees it but we cannot see and appreciate because we were not there.
So the cropaholics will blab but if it is appropriate that is good.
In this case and picture the shooter shows us the scene as he saw it which is to me, photography.
Cropping has it's place but I know I like to show the whole scene to give and share the experience of being there and seeing it all.
Oh well that's my point.
Oh yea, love your sabbaths messages.
Peace to you brother.

An image similar to this one was previously posted but not this one. This is a seriously-underexposed frame with poor lighting from that PlusX Archive of Olde, circa late 70s.
Wow perfectly perfect and beautiful especially her breasts and lovely face.
You’ve had a charmed life for sure.

Dan Phillips. Very nice man and a good friend. I bought my wonderful Nikon 80 - 400mm lens from him here.

Ok cool, after this tread started I started looking at it more and I now today think it looks pretty nice. I will not be buying one or any new truck but hey , if it works for the owner it is good.
Thank you for sharing this with us, I just came from in and out running around.
Be cool Beb.
