We were informed by Jim's son a few weeks ago that Jim aka Angler had passed away.

Even though most of us have never met each other face to face we none the less have become friends through this site and losing a friend always hurts.

I just had a wave of sadness come over me. I always enjoyed Angler's photos. I also enjoyed Brent's and Snap Shot's. We all age, but in this non face-to-face environment, we forget that others get old and take their final shots. I'll miss them all. I'll remain sad for just a little bit longer. . .

Dan Phillips. Very nice man and a good friend. I bought my wonderful Nikon 80 - 400mm lens from him here.
