I did EXACTLY the same thing! You have to get the $75 trnansmitter for the hotshoe. I thought the camera was transmitting...apparently not the case. I'm finding it more difficult of a learning curve than expected using an external flash. I wish there was an easier way to learn rather than just youtubing etc. I know whay i want, how to set up, but need set up settings! I think I've figured it out finally. Would have taken 5 mi utes if I had someone just SHOW ME! Like learni g a computer...

I just set up new Canon Pixma 100 printer, and new Spyder Pro callibrator on my retina display monitor. It told me to put on default settings before loading. Should i now reset monitor to RGB? I use LR to print from with varied success. Found it best to use pri ter canle vs. Wifi. Any tips?

I bought a refurb 70-200 IS II recently from Canon...worked fine for a week, then it started freaking out...you could hear the AF going back and forth nonstop...and woildnt take a oic...even when switched to MF. Any suggestions? Is this similar to your problem?
