I too was allowed to visit Germany by the U S Army. I was stationed in West Berlin from Feb.1961 until Aug.1963. Did some travelling back and forth from Berlin to West Germany and back to keep the 110 mile stretch of autobahn open. Germany is a beautiful country and I have been blessed to return 3 times for military Reunions.Ich Liebe Berlin.
Beautiful pictures. I thought you might be Jerry Bryson from Chatsworth.
Great pictures. Everyone looks so happy.
Yes as a fellow Arkie I have a Canon Elon 7 which is primarily used for B&W film.I love the B&W pictures especially of people.
With my Canon 70D mine are the Canon 50 1.4, Canon 85 1.8 and Tamron 16/300.Loved my older Canon 28/135 but gave it to my daughter when I bought the Tamron.
Depends on the operator. The camera is only a tool.
Both the 50 and 85mm lens are great if you have good feet and legs to zoom with. I love both even with bad knees.
The Chevy's of the fifties and sixties were beautiful cars. Love a chevy.
I was with the Army in Berlin from Feb.1961 until Aug.1963.West Berlin was in the process of being rebuilt and was a beautiful city for the most part especially the Kudamm. The east sector still looked like the war days. Russia did very little to restore their sector..We returned for military reunions in 1998, 2006 and 2010.I love Berlin and wish that some of the folks wanting to change the US could visit cities like East Berlin after the war and see how the people suffered.BTW your photos bring back so many memories. Thank you.
