My real estate agent would call it "A little charmer with possibilities." You are not going to find a deal like this is a long time.

I didn't realize it was oil until I ran the wipers......
Smeared it all over the windshield.

Bad as hitting a swarm of bees at 60mph with the windows open and no air conditioner. When the wind shield goes white and the washer won't clear it. Happened to me in about 1968 on a mountain road. I still remember the car full of bees and me trying to get it stopped before I ran off the road.

The title of the article does not agree with the subject matter. "may, possibly, likely, and arguably" are not definitive. 4, 5 and 6 studies that do not include the number involved or how the studies were conducted are meaningless.

Had only one bad experience with a car dealer. Back in 1957 I wanted a new Volkswagen bug and went to the dealer, made the purchase and about a week later the dealer called and said there would be an additional charge for $200.00 because they did not enter an item in the contract. I told him a contract is a contract and to bad. I then got a letter from an attorney in Michigan about the $200.00. I wrote him back and told him to bring it into Washington State and we would talk about it. Never heard about it again. After that I financed all car purchases through my Credit Union until about 2000. Last couple of times I pay cash for the car then make payments to my Credit Union savings account for my next car. I live with the one I have until I have enough to buy a new one..

It probably is not getting any information that they could not get with a satellite. It is just cheaper to put up. It is the size of a couple of school buses. A Canadian F-18 put over a thousand rounds in a 100 meter diameter balloon and it took 6 days for it to come down. It would be difficult to shoot this one down and we would not know where or when it would come down, but we could do it. There is also a second balloon over South America.

I have an antenna that is in a window. It connects to the T.V. for local stations (up to 60 miles) and to the router (wifi) for internet stations. That is it. No cable, dish or other connections.

Gave up riding motorcycles about 20 years ago. I found then that going 5 mph faster than existing traffic is safest for a MC. Staying on the left hand side of your lane gives the appearance of being a car. Most people when they look for conflicting traffic in a rear view mirror do not look to the right of the lane. I expect some unfavorable comment on the following but eating a hamburger or drinking coffee and driving is not safe. Multitasking and driving is wrong and should not be allowed. Your attention should be on driving.

I got my first BB gun at age 6, my first 22 single shot rifle at age 11, (my father a WWI vet. said single shot so I would not waste ammunition.) and used both under supervision until I got my Boy Scout rifle merit badge. After that I was free to use the 22 on my own. I did not get a revolver until I was 16 and working during the summer. I went into a Coast to Coast store and there was a nine shot Harrington Richardson 22 revolver for $18.00 I bought it and then asked the salesman if I needed anything to carry it. I was thinking of a license but he said OH you will need a holster. I bought the holster and a box of long rifle ammo. loaded the gun, strapped to my waist and walked out of the store. Do that today and it is jail time.

The One Detail That Could Condemn Biden
Story by Ewan Palmer • 5h ago

President Joe Biden will face further scrutiny if he is found to have known about the classified documents found at his home and former office, a legal expert has warned.

Unlike Donald Trump, who kept top secret documents at his Mar-a-Lago resort after leaving the White House, Biden isn't accused of attempting to restrict a federal attempt to retrieve the classified materials. Trump also failed to hand them over to the government months after he had received a subpoena to do so, prompting the August raid at his Florida home.

Instead, Biden's lawyers immediately returned all the documents to the National Archives upon their discovery, and the president hasn't been accused of deliberately attempting to hold onto them.

However, Neama Rahmani, a former federal prosecutor and president of Los Angeles-based West Coast Trial Lawyers, said Biden may face consequences if it turns out he knew that Obama-era classified documents were being kept in his home or in the Washington D.C. think tank office.

"Biden's awareness of the classified materials is the key question in determining whether he violated the Presidential Records Act, Espionage Act, or other federal law," Rahmani told Newsweek.

"Mere negligent misplacement of the documents isn't enough for criminal liability."

Under the Espionage Act and other federal security legislation, any unauthorized retention, mishandling or transmission of documents is considered a violation of the law.

Biden has already said he was "surprised" to hear about the classified documents found at the Penn Biden Center and that he is fully cooperating with the Department of Justice.

However, even if Biden were found to have been aware about the location of the documents, he will still be shielded from prosecution while president. Biden is currently planning to run for president again in 2024, meaning that he could have absolute immunity for years if he wins the next election.

Experts have already questioned whether there is any justification for a criminal investigation over Biden's handling of the classified materials.

Former Acting U.S. Solicitor General Neal Katyal compared the classified materials situation between Biden and Trump to the pair borrowing a library book.

"One forgot about the book, finds it a couple years later, and then immediately gives it back. The other person knowingly takes the books & refuses to give it back when the library sends request after request for it," Katyal tweeted.

"In both cases, the same basic action was taken: a library book wasn't returned. But, intuitively, we all view those two scenarios differently. And fortunately, so does the law when it comes to something like the possession of classified documents."

Even if not criminally liable, Republicans have also questioned why the White House did not immediately reveal that Biden's lawyers had found the initial cache of documents on November 2, just days before the midterm elections.

Timing Issues
Rahmani noted that there is no legal requirement for the National Archives or Biden to disclose the existence of the classified documents to the American public as soon as they found them, but not doing so was bound to raise suspicion.

"Biden's lawyers reportedly notified the National Archives when they were discovered, which satisfies their legal requirement. Whether it was the right move politically is another question," Rahmani told Newsweek.

Elsewhere, a Quinnipiac University poll revealed that 71 percent of Americans think Biden's classified materials story is either very serious (39 percent) or somewhat serious (32 percent).

Nearly half (46 percent) of Americans think Biden shouldn't be investigated over his handling of these classified documents, while 37 percent think he should face criminal charges.

"Roughly two-thirds of Americans are aware of and troubled by the misplaced classified documents found in President Biden's home and private office. But is it a criminal case? No," said Tim Malloy, a Quinnipiac University polling analyst.

The One Detail That Could Condemn Biden br Story b... (show quote)

I would think it goes to what is in the documents. If they pertain to the Ukraine or actions by that government and the Vice President of the U.S. or his family or businesses then it may indicate why he had them and if any criminality is involved. Perhaps also China. Chances are that we will never know.

That he did and you are absolutely correct. It did not help England when the war ended and India wanted independence.
