I follow a number of Face Book pages dedicated to photography, Frames being one of them. Excellent images are posted every day. Also several pages dedicated to B & W photography and also ICM. I would add in several dedicated Olympus or micro four-thirds sites, too. I think if you look for some of these sites, your concerns about composition, creativity and other aspects of photography would disappear of be significantly reduced.

Some excellent information already has been posted. One other suggestion since you have time, is to visit some art museums that may be close to where you live and practice some of the techniques you have recieved in preivous post above. True, the lighting isn't going to be the same, but the practice of setting ISO and White Balance will be very helpful when you get to Paris.

An alternative suggestion for you to consider.

Because you will be on a ship and not having to pack up everything every day, etc. take both cameras. Then when you are off the ship use your FF camera with a wider lens. When you are shooting from the ship and the distances are further to your subject, use the crop sensor camera and your longer lenses.

Whatever you decide, have a wonderful trip.

Cute, This looks like one from the 1950s-1960s. Very good.

Three legged thingy also has a universal style L-bracket. Not as well engineered as a RRS bracket, but if you can't find another option, take a look. B & H has them.

I think the City of Seattle has passed a resolution that would ban right turns on red lights. I am not sure if it now active or not.

Two current issues have been pointed out. 1) drivers not stopping at the red light, but rather rolling around the corner, and 2) concern about inattentive drivers rear-ending those drivers that actually stop.

Let's all be careful and cities will not need to change to current right on red laws.

You might double check the site where Canon wanted to charge you. Sometimes a site looks like the 'real site,' but is actually a 3rd party site that will help you for a fee....I ran into this once when I had a Windows error and the little fee as pretty big when I thought I had gone to the Microsoft site.

Good luck getting you Pro 100 printing again. I have the Pro 10 and think it is a great machine, but a couple of times a year I do need to go through all the maintenance steps, and cleaning steps to keep it printing.

I have had a similar result if I take a series of images with my Olympus 12-100 lens at the wide angle range of the lens. I try to remember to set the lens at about 25 MM (50mm FFE) when I am going to stitich images. I also find that shooting my stitiched pano shots to put the camera in portrait position as well.

In our area the local shopping center sponsored trick or treating for the youngsters, and one of our local high school also had a trunk or treat event where school clubs gave away candy and also had activities for the kids.

Overall, the changes are giving the children the experience in a safer environment.

I do miss seeing the kids come to the door in their costumes.

I have no complaints about the service of the USPS.

I recall that after Trump named DeJoy to head the USPS DeJoy decommissioned automated sorting equipment that was substantially faster than manual sorting. I now have seen our local postal delivery personnel delivering mail as late as 7:00 PM. That was never the case before.

I also have sent items to Canada and postal service in Canada may be very slow at times. It is possible the OP's mail made it to Canada and was then returned to the US????

I have seen far more postings here on UHH complaining about Fedex and UPS than about USPS.

Also, take a look at the MagMod adaptor for you flash unit. They help project the flash out a much greater distance and are very useful when you subject is sitting in a tree under a leafy canopy in darker light.

I think UHH is a good place to advertise equipment and get a good price for it.

Recently, I had an offer from Olympus trade-in bonus, so I took some images of one of my cameras and sent them in for a quote. I received an email back very quickly from Roberts, I think, for $225 for an EM1 MK II. Other sites are offering this same body for $700 to $800. I skipped the trade in as I wasn't really ready to move up to the OM-1.

My story is to primarily illustrate that you will generally get a better price selling it yourself compared to any of the resellers.
